once I played against a quest priest, I was espionage rogue with the quest for a weapon. I discovered the taunt minion which spawns him 3 random minions, even dopped leeroy early to litter his resurrect pool, he still only resurrected the healing taunt. each turn he cleared my board, hit my face, completed the quest. I had only a bit of hp left and I shuffled 8 of his murozonds into my deck and draw 2 of them with stowaway, then each turn I draw more, even had the crystal card which removes 3 mana crystals and gives minions +2+2. I played my buffed murozonds each turn. he was about to win but each turn I just dropped one murozond. eventually, he thought I don't have any more and made an order mistake by playing mass dispel first taunt after. stabilized with his taunt minions and won. it was hilarious when he optimized his turns for mana and I just dropped a murzond "you think it is your time? it's my time" that went for 6 turns and I won somehow.

Imagine if zephys was actually smart enough to give you shadowstep. If it sees you have enough mana to play a combo card that increases in power if you play more cards, or if you have a card in play that triggers everytime you play a spell or minion, it should offer shadowstep.

Zephrys doesnt know hand. Only board state, secrets, amount of mana and health.

Zephrys is hard coded to not offer certain cards like shadowstep to avoid that exact scenario.

He definitely did do Dragoncaster into LPG from the sidebar and since he just drew Zephrys couldn't have done a Wild Growth. Interesting stuff though, thanks for the brain teaser haha Edit : I thought about it some more and even if he managed to go Turn 1 sidequest into Turn 2 Licensed Adventurer it's literally impossible for him to have completed Learn Draconic on Turns 3 and 4 so it should be Elemental Allies if anything
