Hi all, I live in Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA so this book I've just bought is exciting to me. The Witch of Pungo by Scott O. Moore. There's a local legend of a woman named Grace Sherwood who was "ducked" and found "guilty" of being a witch in the early 1700's. Her "ducking" happened around the corner from where I live, now infamously known as Witchduck Rd. The author has pieced together all the ephemeral historical documentation available to give an idea of who Grace Sherwood was as a woman, farmer, widow, mother, midwife and herbalist in early 18th century America when we were still a colony of Great Britain.

I’m in RVA & just heard about her during COVID. I’ll have to look for the book. So much in VA is Civil War focused so I love learning about history that has nothing to do with that (or Jamestown/Pocahontas & the Revolution). ❤

Setting a notification on my calendar to come back to this video to order Unquiet Voices and Fortune in our Hands. Both sound great but any practical guidance for paranormal research and remediation is very important to me. Mortellus' "Bones Lie in a Spiral" (something like that?) is an absolute game changer in the paranormal community. I absolutely recommend that one. I would love to see more astrology too! It's incredibly helpful for so many things in both the magic and the mundane. Even making separate, ten minute videos, like a monthly overview of events for practicioners would be a dream come true. I know you are doing a Lot so, I understand if you can't do this too. I just like the idea of a separate video that is at a more relaxed pace for those of us who like to take notes. I take notes (literally on paper in notebooks) on most of your videos and it's helpful for memorizing important things and for reference. The astro section of this video is too fast for me to do that, but I will watch it a couple more times if necessary to record the astrological events you listed, etc. I really love how you are incorporating astrology and creating a holistic experience for practitioners! I think the video being right under 30 minutes is perfect! I would be interested in the book on divination using playing cards because that is what my grandmother used, it also may be right up a witch's alley who is in the broom closet. I'm working the new moon in Cancer tonight, manifesting the type of emotions I would like to experience, charging some moon water as well.
