Most of the trucks the thermostat is in the mirror so I put a hot hands heat pack in there it makes it hotter than what it really is and your truck will idle

Could you provide an update on the idle shutdown? Have you experimented with releasing the tractor brakes to keep it from shutting down, or running PTO?

Doesn’t work with these trucks. Tried the brake and setting idle higher. If it’s 80 degrees or lower it will shut off. Only reason I really dislike Freightliner lol

@@scouttrucker Have you considered putting a heating device on the thermometer to keep it above 90? If it’s not under the mirror, it’s usually somewhere in the grill. Really curious because not being able to idle my truck as I should is a dealbreaker. You can’t comfortably sleep in anything above 60ish degrees, especially considering that the sun will heat the cab.

@Unduplicatable they monitor idle times so no lol. It doesn’t bother me. Once it’s under 80 degrees if it shuts down and I don’t wanna run AC I’ll just run a fan I have

I drive for Heartland i have a manual i prefer an automatic but stuck with a manual i was told none are available because of drivers that have a restricted license and can only drive automatics

how do you map when moving? swift locked the dam map image when moving and if you needed wider imaging and routes you was screwed unless you stopped.. that 2 inch screen sucks when everything i used to do was on street atlass the big map printed on actual paper. so??? i understand hands free on phone - but mapping no?

🪴Pam Transport doesn't do that every load ready to go you don't have to put anything in; so ya know you can use 24 inch wipers frame not the squeegee Peterbilt you can go 55 inch cool move on the mounting idea for your flatscreen tv I had to share. It is bananas to think you can get 85 inch tv's put one against the back wall the flatscreen tv is so big it would loge in place probably ya know turn around sit on the floor and wham 🕹️ 4k 85 inch if not a 65 inch can be done if you can dig it ⚡ Jim Morrison.
