Here's your first look at Heartland Season 17, Episode 3, "The Heart Wants" coming this Sunday to CBC and CBC Gem (Canada).
In the episode, Amy helps Caleb with his son’s pony. Lou and Jessica start a new venture, while Katie tries a risky new hobby. Logan takes a big step in his relationship with Miley, but then disaster strikes.

See I'm the type of person that's like if I died and my husband and bestfriend found love and comfort in each other that I wouldn't mind if they got together because I'm gone and I would just want to see them both happy. I think ty would feel the same way.. I mean if ty never came back with jack on Amy's birthday who knows if he would have gotten with Ashley. Even looking years later I could understand if they got together Both of Caleb's women that he married doesn't fully appreciate him. Amy has seen him go through many great and really bad moments in his life. He has a son and she has a daughter that are probably going to be Bestfriends as they grow up just because of how great their parents friendship is. They could potentially be great siblings for one another and with that friendship already built she knows that Caleb would never intentionally hurt her, and she knows Caleb's personality. Instead of trying to get to know someone intirally new and having them not live up to what she had with Ty. Caleb can be a comfort for amy because she already known him for years. I think Ty would look down at them both and shake his head while laughing going Finally! Took you two long enough to figure it out. ❤😂

I don't see it. Caleb has always been a good time fun kind of guy but never had the characteristics of a good husband. He married twice and both women walked out on him. Why?? Hes never held a regular full time job to support a spouse or children. They rarely even talk about where he lives since he left the trailer many years ago.

I don't think it would be bad if they ended up together, tys best friend was Caleb so he would rather her with a good friend than a stranger. In real life joni lambs husband died and he told her to move on and he was good friends with the man doug weiss she recently married and the family and friends all welcomed him as they knew their dad would be happy mum had found such a God fearing man. So I think they could be a good match.

Amy would go with any guy! She is a Fleming! Caleb may have become a friend with Ty but he is not Mr. Reliable! Never put in half a day's work while he worked at the ranch, played Amy off Ashley or visa versa! Couldn't maintain not one but 2 marriages(some may say it wasn't all his fault and they were right). So if he continues on as a rodeo guy he will continue to be on the road more than not. Meaning away from Lyndy. No I think Amy is better off as a single mom just like her mom was! Looking after Lyndy. Amy needs a few girlfriends not a line of men at her doorstep! Hmm which guy will I date tonight!! That's the way they are making Amy out to be!! Just saying!
