Totally agree. This obsession with Ty is bizarre. Wardle stated he didn't enjoy playing Ty anymore. His last season he seemed to be just going through the motions. Plus I felt Ty and Amy weren't on the same page anymore. Ty didn't seem to respect Amy and wanted to do things in his own way. Amy and Ty was a young love but with Nathan Amy is more mature and they have the possibility of becoming a great couple. It is possible to love again.

I watch this show religiously regardless with Ty being there or not its about moving on from devastating loss...The show is based on family and the loyalty of family.... Amy having the gift of horses 🐎 Yhe show is incredible

I think that eventually the Bartlett-Flaming and Nathan will cooperate and find the way to be good neighborhood and competitors. Lou will amend things with Crown or maybe Amy will do, she has solved the problem with horse Sushi, maby Jed will listen to her about Nathan Jr!

The real success of Heartland was and still is the Amy and Ty love story. The dating in the season 18 trailer and the current episodes especially Amy's relationship with Nathan is simply the writers attempt to keep the storyline interesting, and not boring.Assuming Ty doesn't return the writers will conclude the series with Amy unable to accept another(not just because Ty can't be replaced} because of her continuing strong love and feelings for Ty. She will conclude that her peace and happiness is with her as a single mother raising Lindy in the manner Ty would have wanted. In my opinion, because we had 14 years of this remarkable love story, whereby the viewers got to intimately know Ty, it makes it nearly impossible to erase him from the viewers minds and on a larger scale future Heartland seasons. It's a testament toTy's impact on the series, in that he still remains the topic of much fan discussion and love even though he has been missing for over 4 years.

America always has to wait at least a whole year after a season ends in Cananda before they can get it on UP Faith & Family. I had to wait a year and a half to see season 17. Not gonna hold my breath on seeing season 18.

I don't know why many Heartlanders think season 18 is disappointing. I find it so emotional, especially this last episode. The struggling between Amy and Nathan is so touchable. I like this season so much and I think that eventually Amy and Nathan will be together, plus I like how Nathan is supportive and helping on Amy working with horses. I have loved Ty and Amy but Ty is dead, if they bring him back it will be like The Bold and the Beautiful! Heartland has always tried to be realistic and in real life some accidents happen. Amy won't forget Ty but life keeps going on.

I agree. I felt Ty was at times selfish and wanted to be the boss in their relationship especially toward the end. His decision to go to Mongolia was a bit crazy. Even though he professed to love Amy I felt at times he kept her at a distance. I actually wondered if Ty and Amy would have stayed married.

Ame la historia de Ty y Amy y me dolió que "muriera", que no pudiera disfrutar mas tiempo con su hija y Amy, pero como dijo alguien anteriormente fue su decisión retirarse de la serie. Y la dupla de Nathan y Amy es muy buena, me gustaría que terminen juntos, pues el quiere mucho a Amy y Lyndy y por sobre todo respeta la memoria de Ty. Mi final perfecto seria que Lu se fuera con Peter, que Tim realice su sueño junto a su esposa y Amy Nathan GG y Luisa sigan en el rancho
