Spent a year in Afghanistan up in Bagram, 06-07. They had just dug up the berms for the ASP, not far from their garbage burn site. When we got on deck at the ASP, our Platoon Commander made it clear that walking off the concrete road around the ASP would gaurante an NJP. The region was still being scoured for mines by the UN. Well, after six months 10th Mountain Division took over. Out driving past our ASP, the new Lt. Colonel stopped our LT and bitched at him because of the trash that had blown onto our fence line from the burn pit. Next day we found ourselves police calling miles of fence line 20 feet off the road that up until that moment was a potential minefield. Needless to say, our LT had better things to do then join us.

Lobos222 Lmao youre the one making a big deal out of it! I never said I was _offended_ by their opinion. I think its chickenshit when people like you make some big grandstand out of stuff like this. My initial description was "bitching" - Yes I consider "baiting" an interview to their advantage to be bitching. Combined with the condescending/"better than you" nature of the whole thing. You just dont have any fucking sense do ya? Striking up bullshit arguments based on a ONE LINER. HAHAHA. Mustve gotcha good enough...lol man the fuck up mr. keyboard warrior. Stir some shit up in the real world. Little boy...

@@Range-X You are the one with the OP making a deal out of it, dude. Your insinuations were clear. That you now try to back peddle because I called you out doesnt make me the one stating "Vice was bitching". - Grandstanding? LoL, oh you and your word selection. Vice is bashing, I am grandstanding. Wow, every hillock you see is a mountain in your mind, I think.

Do I agree with this film and the actions of the leader, no. I grew up around this struggle so I’m glad he brought up this point. A civilians bad day at work, a few Pennie’s is lost. A bad day as a soldier and ppl die. Thank you for making this real. War movies should show this stuff more often, but the government won’t allow it.
