For me the name of the episode (Apart) means in the little time Nick and Charlie were apart when Nick and the girls go to visit Unis, Charlie found out that he needs to be with his friends and family besides Nick, but Nick feels like he needs Charlie more than he needs him. The fear of to be apart from each other is the main plot of Nick and Charlie novella and also the current issues of Chapter 8 of Heartstopper web comic
