I don’t know anyone with an ED, I don’t know why I caught it from episode 1 on my first watch. I noticed he bolted out the door without breakfast first day, then my heart dropped when he wasn’t eating his cornflakes after Ben hurt him. By the time he refused popcorn at the theatre after Ben and Harry turned up my heart dropped into my boots and distracted me from enjoying Nick calling him ‘Char’.

@ariadnepyanfar1048 I noticed him not eating the cereal but thought it was a normal "too sad to be hungry" momentary thing and thought he simply wasn't interested in popcorn at the cinema. He does seem to have things sometimes (like the icecream/milkshake) so I didn't realise that he was literally harming himself from not eating, for ages i just thought he ate off-screen 🤦‍♀️

the sister is definitely very real! tori was the main character in the first book alice oseman ever wrote (solitaire) and nick and charlie were side characters. heartstopper is actually their backstory!

Your reaction was amazing, and I should know, I’ve probably watched 95% of the Heartstopper reactions on KZbin. You don’t miss crucial points like some reactors. You don’t make ridiculously long intros and outros. A LOT of people miss Charlie’s eating issues when stressed. Kudos for picking that up immediately. I love when reactors assume so many tropes (like thinking Imogen would kiss Nick, or Charlie would rebound back to Ben, or someone would walk in on the first kiss). Heartstopper subverts so many tropes, that’s one of its charms. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE react to season 2 & 3!!!
