One scene I really like is Mr. Ajayi flirting with Mr. Farouk in the museum, making him do the pose in front of paintings. You can see Mr. Farouk’s walls dissolving as he increasingly does things that are out of character for a prickly, jaded educator. Mr. Ajayi subtly brings him alive in moment after moment, leading him to be more compassionate with Charlie when he faints and with Darcy when she commits that heinous crime in his room. He goes from dreading the trip to experiencing it as “a laugh,” as Mr. Ajayi helps him shift how he views the whole experience. It’s a nice bit of humanizing for him.

I think they were filming on the Eiffel Tower before it opened so that was a sunrise shot. I also saw Joe mention how surprised he was when he saw other people walking around the Louvre in the final cut because when they filmed they were all alone. They must have filmed at the Louvre before it opened or after it closed. So the 'extras' were added later with CGI. Similar to the band recital in S1. That audience was all CGI (because of covid).

I think the locks are cleared every few months to make room for more. I love Isaac putting Harry in his place. That talk between Charlie and Tao was great! And young Tao did a great job in his short scene. Just noticed Tara and Darcy in the background of the Nick/Elle talk, taking pictures and stuff. Apparently the background people in the Louvre are fake. Inserted later somehow or something. I think Joe mentioned there weren't other people there when they filmed. Love S2. And yeah, these Paris episodes are a highlight.

It was sunRISE on the Eiffel Tower. The lawn scenes were filmed after or on a different day. When they first come up to the platform, that bright light shining THROUGH the tower, is the sun RISING. Think it was something like 6am - 10 am they were there. Morning light. Very pretty and soft. And Philosopher Nick on the stairs, knowing exactly what he is doing. He and Tara do that, A LOT. They're the most subtly proactive at moving forward the others into "new spaces and ideas". Tara is part of the slingshot that propels Nick to actually say to Charlie, "You're just going to assume they're a girl?" in Kiss [1:3] And there is no "Ecole du Coeur" metro stop. That's just for Heartstopper! In fact, you wouldn't even take the Metro from the Louvre to Pont Neuf for never served coffee with Nick's dad because it is a very short walk along the Seine. Oh, Ecole du Coeur, school of love, which even I with ZERO French got first watch. Jackie-Ross is the FIRST person to ever say that Nick was going to say "I love you." over the slightly stale croissant and he actually DOES say "that I have lovingly carried for you all day." immediately after that.

All of them are fake except the ones Jackie called out, they were actually there, the one on the left is one of Harrys friends (the one that asked if the hickey was from Nick) and the one on the right is the person who asked Charlie who gave him the hickey at the party during truth or dare. They were literally just laughing at Charlie.

Absolutely love your videos but I think your editing needs a bit of a touch up. You showed the bridge and it was cute but you didn't show the padlock of Charlie and tao going up just that it was there and you showed taos reaction to nick and Charlie but not his reaction to Elle coming to the door and slamming it in her face. Some very big moments. Not a dig or trying to start any crap. Honestly though love the channel and massive fan..

it’s luck of the draw i’m afraid. it’s very, very tough to get these videos past copyright and after spending hours editing it for it to be blocked by copyright you just have to keep cutting until it gets approved. I appreciate what you’re saying… but appreciate it took me 9 hours of editing, exporting, uploading, blocked, re-edit, re-export, re-upload… blocked again… and this video got hit HARD and that’s why it’s only 15 minutes instead of 20 like the rest of the season. So I hear you… but we can only do what we can do.
