I had My Aortic Valve replaced February of last year (2024) with a mechanical valve. I had a Bicupsid aortic valve which turned into a unicupsid valve.

@@HeartValveSurgery this was actually my 2nd one heart surgery. I had my first one when I was an infant. VSD and Coarctation of Aorta was first surgery. My valve was being checked every year while growing up into adult hood until 2nd surgery

I am 66 years old in 2009 i had open heart surgery for tge aortic valve and rightcoronary artery. In 2016 inhad to have a redue on the aortic valve because i had leakage. Now 2042 i have copd perififial artery disease in my legs . At this time my valve is tight and both legs are very swollen and sore.i had a doppler and dont have clots but i am concerned about my circulation. My cardiologist saidm6 valve is tight this is not good. Should I get a cardiac catherization. Please reply i am very concerned. My name i s Kathleen lizaus a i s pden

I was a l so hospitalized in may 2024 from my ekg spiking but inwas able to go home tge in November 2024 I was hospitalized for lifing heavy weight from moving. Both times I had chest pain on tge scale I give them a 4. I think I am having congestive heart disease failure tight valve legs swollen please let me know what you think . Kathleen Liza ❤❤❤❤❤mbliI vi
