We don't need this but Jim and I think this is a great idea and save on money for the farmer.

Interesting. The difference between Greg and you (or I) is that we get sub zero temps. I would expect that anything that touches them in those temps will break the post. Rocks would also be problematic I would think. I am not sold for my situation. However, I don't know for sure and it will be interesting to see what you think of them. I like the pickets when I have big stretches like that. Good video though Josh.

Timeless has been installed in Alaska, the Yukon and all across Canada. They hold up really well in the cold.

We have timeless on our farm in Eastern Alberta Canada and have no problems with -30, -40 below zero with these posts. We love our timeless fences 😊

I keep hearing that rock is not a problem. Last year I got me a dozen posts to test and in all the locations I have tried not a single one went in. The top will mushroom or melt. Best advice so far was to use old tires and pour cement in em to set the post.

Why not use the that left over hay for mulch? Electric fence can be tricky.

Are you guys still liking the Timeless Fence? That’s what we’d like to use on our property.

Yes, love it and it is so worth it. If you're serious about using them reach out to Josh and he can put you in contact with their rep.

How do you keep the grass from the bottom line? I'm using hot wire for my pigs but getting a weed eater or mower underneath that bottom line is proving a challenge.
@HeartwayFarms Жыл бұрын
We have found that one of the ways is to keep the fence constantly energized and very hot. It ends up killing off the new green growth.

I got a sample of the Timeless Fence and tested it against a string trimmer and the string didn't even leave a mark. Then I tested it with a small flame from a lighter and it immediately started to discolor and burn. I'm not so much worried about wild fires but I would like something fire resistant so that I can burn the weeds that grow under the fence. I might still go with the Timeless Fence, but does anyone have any suggestions for a fireproof coating to put on the bottom two feet?

Thank you for all your information it’s very helpful. Did you see where Biden signed an international agreement that we would stop growing food. Please Everyone stock up on food and grown your own food.

Where do these ridiculous people see this about President Biden another comment about the post if you live in the North where there is deep snow the post can sink

i believe there will be TDS vaccine available soon. Use it. Don't forget the booster. I saw the snow 6 feet deep in some places... Couldn't believe it covered 5 foot fence. True story.
