Most vet's offices will have a 'chewable" form of the heartworm prevention medication that tastes like beef or something else that dogs like. Both of my dogs take the chewables once a month and it's completely hassle-free since both of them love their treats.

This video is funny but also educational so thank you for the upload. My rescue French Bulldog has heart worms (female heart worms) it’s awful she is only 3 years old her name is Sushi and she was used for breeding on a puppy farm she has had many litters of puppies and only weighed 10kilo she also came with a very bad ear infection too, how people can do this to any animal is beyond me anyway back to my story . She is on antibiotics for at the moment for two more weeks then she is having her first injection oh boy I’m so worried for her now I have seen your movie she is going to be so very sick but I will not crate her as she lived in a cage so I will not do that to her. She had never had any yearly vaccinations as they did not care about her anyway she will be ok 👍 it’s costing a lot of money but money that means nothing to us as long as she is happy and if ...god forbid she doesn’t come through with all she is going to go through at least she has had cuddles and loves everyday. 😍🥰😍🐾🤎🐾🙏🙏🙏🍣🍣🍣. I hope you do not mind me telling Sushi’s story she is such a ray of light 💡 I have to share her with KZbin and all it’s beautiful kind people xoxo so thank you for again for your video I can not tell you how much it as helped. 🙏🐾🙏🤎🤎

Unfortunately we had to have Sushi put to sleep on the 3rd of October due to her heart being so diseased from the heart worms she was so very ill and she was sold to us in this awful condition she suffered a lot during her short little life my poor baby. Please please vaccinate your pets so that this does not happen to your beautiful fur babies. Thank you for reading. 🙏🤎🐾❤️xx

😢 I was just about to ask how did it end up turning out..I was really rooting 4 and hoping Sushi would soldier through. Atleast she knew love at the end ...she's no longer suffering..❤❤❤...Wishing u the best for

Dude, arctic regions have some of the largest mosquito populations on earth. Trust me, I live in Alaska. The reason we don't have heartworms is not because we have no mosquitoes (seriously, I wish), but because the worm itself cannot survive the cold climate. As the joke goes, the mosquito is basically our state bird!
@christinfranklin13334 ай бұрын
That's crazy...the only time we get relief from those abominations here in Alabama is during the winter... 1 day ur getting swarmed.. the next ..u won't see 1...i always wondered where did they go....guess they fly west for the winter 🙃😉😉..kidding!!

Except this video makes it look like vets are only in it for the money! Lol!! At least in Canada, vets and technicians don’t make as much as RN’s, dentists, other nurses, and doctors (who only work on one species and one aspect of their field (where techs do all aspects of human health). We have overhead to run our business, blood machines and X-ray machines are not cheap and we don’t have funding by federal/provincial heath care. So no... vets don’t run heart worm tests “to make money” (they do cost money), we run them to figure out what’s wrong with your dog, and make sure they get better and stay healthy.
@robertchase8504 Жыл бұрын
Sometimes life is pathetic. Why create heartworms and everything else like it? Answer: boredom Oh ya then there’s population control🙄🫤😵💫 Hey life! What are gonna make now? Life: I dunno, guess I’ll just make more viruses
