Hey Nick! I just started working on this software and somehow after all the installation, the lcurve command is shown not to be found if i don't give previous command of export and source as given in instructions. Can you please help me with it?

Depending on the os you are using you can edit the configuration files with a heasoft alias and that should solve your problem. If I am understanding your problem correctly.
