Theres are various plasters that can make the skin of the wall waterproof. Also long roof overhangs that help to shade aswell. There can be mixture of modern and traditional techniques. The cost would greatly reduce. Ive been to Azad Kashmir which is full of huge Kothis but they all have concrete cancer.

easy after a height of 3or 4 feet put bricks width wise one layer then again cavity for one sheet width like this for three sheet width +3 layers of crosswise bricks , the total height will be 10feet which is perfectly normal

Thats really expensive method basically for cavity wall insulation external we use brick then insulation boards with air bleed vent then internally breez blocks insulation must ve kingspram with foil on one side The way he bulid will add up 25% additional cost to complete the project with less weather resistant of protection

The method papa jones mentioned will be more costly as they use this in europian countries and both side foil insulation is expensive and i doubt it is available in pakistan, again thermal blocks are expensive and not available in pakistan, if you import them then more cost.

The builder using local stuff therapol, but making a mistake by not leaving cavity between thermapol and internal wall, now outer brick, thermapol and inner brick all are one structure so outer bricks will pass heat and cold to thermapol, it will reduce heat n cold but it will pass heat n cold to inner bricks aswell so if there is a cavity then thermapol wont b able to pass heat n cold to inner skin. Good idea but next timer leave a cavity even 40mm and try using 50mm termapol.

@@TheDynamicEngineers EPS (thermocol) is less stable than high density foam like XPS or Glass wool insulation hence less durable. Also EPS (thermocol) has a less water vapour diffusion resistance than XPS hence less permeable to air and moisture than EPS So in case of high humidity or condensation XPS is more suitable
