My husband and I stopped by today while in North Carolina for our daughter’s wedding. Ceecee kindly assisted us. We visited the Proven Winners new garden. Jerry took time to say hi and visit with us. Jenny, you and Jerry are wonderful managers! Your new projects for exhaust fans & plans in your storage building are interesting to hear about. The new caryopteris is a beautiful color( purple-blue) and will add fall interest to the garden and like the fact that the shrub is long blooming. Important to remember that it does like well drained soil. Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Oh my, lots going on by you! Planning ahead is always good for the best success. We're going into the heat next week here in Southeast Wisconsin. At this point looks like no rain, wishing I had a well for all the watering I'll be doing. Grass doesn't get watered, but my gardens sure do...lol. Jerry, hope you have a wonderful Father's Day!

Jenny, if you place your hand behind the plant tags, Jerry can focus on it so we can read it. You could also place it against the sleeve of your shirt as it provides a blank backdrop as well.

The gardens are looking beautiful Jenny!and your shirt is such a beautiful colour. Here in the UK it is cold, windy and wet! Temperatures are still going to 4'c at night. We are trying to build 2 very big raised beds in our garden and all my seedlings plants are struggling. To warm inside to cold outside. We have had the odd nice day but not enough. Slightly envious that your hotting up and that's not me, hate the sun😀😍🦋

Last night, Bambi and his mom came through to eat every single day lily bud and bloom in my yard. Judging by how many they ate, they should feel quite sick this morning.

Do you (or any of your viewers) have suggestions for a shrub to plant under some trees, so mostly shade, that will get large? I need to block off an area for some privacy. I would prefer a flowering shrub that I could plant a single or in a grouping. I am in zone 8. Thank you for any suggestions!

I have an astilbe that gets browning along the edges of all the leaves. It does it every year. It gets morning sun and is shaded before noon. It is an area of my garden that stays moist most of the time. Could it be too much water? I don’t know much about astilbe and their water preferences.

It's so silly that Proven Winners has this new wait forever policy to know what is out new for next year. For goodness sakes you growers and sponsors of PW need to get the darn plants in the ground so we can see what the mature plant is like. Now we are seeing the plants but you can't talk about them.
