When you mention pressing it piece by piece for a larger print on a 15x15, do you mean cut the vinyl into lets say in half? Press top half, peel, press bottom half, peel OR its still 1 vinyl sheet but press top half, slide up the shirt, press bottom half, peel all at once at the end? Is it safe to double press top? Hope the question makes sense. Thanks for your content. New subscriber! 👊😎

I got my 15x15 HPN SS because of your video and love the decision i've made. The info you give is real user info. I thought the 15x15 was gonna be small but after watching one of your videos and after receiving mines, im glad I went with the 15x15 with the slideout! Also congrats on the 100k youtube plaque. #realtalkbrandoh #keepupthe100

This is good information I have 3 represents my 12 by 15 has always served me prints usually not larger than that. I recently upgraded to a 15 by 15 it's been working great it's almost like my 12 by 15. However when it comes to my 3rd heat press 16 by 20 the amount of power to heat it is a lot I have to Turn off certain things in order to let it work or it will power down circuit break . Good info and hopefully this helped also

I was considering the 15x15 as a starter but listening to you now I think I’ll go for the 16x20. Don’t want to miss out on jobs (even if just a few) because of transfer size. Are there any pros/cons of choosing either?

Does heatpress nation have sleeve platens on the 16x20 presses ? If not how do you print on sleeves with no platen ?

Hello I’m new here. Hopefully you see my question. I’ve been watching many videos you have and I bought heat press nation heat press. I even did a DBA. Thank you for your videos and knowledge. What is on your heat press at the top of the clam? If that makes sense.
@BigBrandoh Жыл бұрын
i have a non stick cover made by heat press nation on my heat press. its like a teflon sheet that fits over the top like a bed sheet. i use it whenever i use a film type of transfer. the film backing under the heat creates static. i use the non stick cover to buffer out the static. thats all.

Quick question from amateur. If the design on artwork is only 12 inches across, but it sits on the bottom/back/skirt of a shirt, will you need the 16x20 ? Or would you just load the shirt backwards to get print on correctly?
@BigBrandoh Жыл бұрын
16x20 is not needed. you load the shirt where ever you plan to press the design on.

Hi Big Brando thank you for all your knowledge and sharing with us. You're in inspiration for me as in starting out with my own clothes line mainly shirts & hoodies. Can you suggest what brands to buy that are good quality but yet not so expensive? Or are the gilden/fruit of the loom/Hanes 100% cotton work too? Thanks and God Bless
@BigBrandoh Жыл бұрын
hard to say because its more than just price. its also, cut, fit, feel, availability, color offerings, washability, hood size, pocket size, sleeve length etc... when buying blanks, its all a personal preference. if you dont care about fit and feel etc.. and just price is the only factor. any blank will do. but if you have a good idea on what you want to offer your customers, than it makes it easier for you to find what you are looking for. you can try gildan, hanes, bella, pro club, next level, american apparel, smart, delta, omni, shaka. those all have different price ranges, fits and feels.

I heard you mention you do for motorcycle clubs I am currently about to start doing for my club support and club shirts and looking into buying white toner printer on transfer have you ever used that and what heat press would you suggest thanks
@BigBrandoh Жыл бұрын
i recommend the 16x20 HPN press shown in this vid. i dont use white toner printers or transfers. i order screen printed transfers. i got links in the description box. 16x20 is good for Mc shirts for large soft patches on the back. 15x15 is a little small for full patches.

@BigBrandoh Жыл бұрын
not necessary but it is nice to have. if you plan on pressing a lot of shirts and hoodies, there is a benefit to having it. but if you wont be switching between hoodies and t shirts often then it wont help you much. its visual indicator on what the pressure setting is. thats all.
@chrisbaker7583 Жыл бұрын
@@BigBrandoh appreciate the reply! Was sweating over it because the only available 16x20 presses on HPN with sure pressure didn’t have auto open or slide out, but we’re $150 more than the press with both features but no SP. I’ll probably just go without the SP for now. Again, I appreciate the response! Love the channel.

Is there any issues pressing in pieces if you have a 15×15? I already have a 15×15 already but I like big designs. Should I invest in a larger press? I really don't press alot so I'm thinking doing in pieces is ok. Can you do a video about pressing large designs on the 15×15?

@katherinej516792 жыл бұрын
I have done it before and had about 50% success rate. For me it was very dependent on the temperature. If I’m using vinyl, I prefer stretch vinyl for the matte finish but it needs to be pressed hotter. It caused a visible line in the actual design that I could not press away. Probably took me a good 3-4 times To figure out why it was happening. When I used printable HTV for opaque shirts, the line didn’t happen. That’s just my experience.
