Thanks for talking about so many different methods. I purchased some 100% acrylic hats that have a woven appearance. Unfortunately that means the 100% sublimation ink is difficult to use on them especially on the seam. So looks like I'll be trying some print and cut / printable vinyl next.

would love to see the bleach front technique for sublimation...seen some done with black shirts and one done with grey they bleached on front and then sublimated on thought they looked great would love to see your take on doing this...if I did it would probably end up with bleach splotches everwhere.

Hi. First,thank you so much for this gift! 😊 I really want to try the DTV process but I have the Epson F170 sublimation printer which only uses epson paper. It was one of the printers you reviewed. Because you have that printer too would you know if it is safe to use the DTV film or could it jam the printer? I called epson but they don’t know.

Is sublimination and htv the same?

No they are not. Sublimation ink fuses with the fibers where as HTV is "glued" on top of them.🥰

What is the best way to get plain white lettering onto a black t-shirt??? I bought "soft flex" white HTV, which I heard is very soft and lasts a long time. I need to make them for our church's worship team - at the request of our pastor - and I want to get it right. We just bought a new multifunction heat press and a new EcoTank sublimation printer. I was also looking for the infusible ink transfer sheets in white to see if that will work, but I haven't found any in white. Thanks! Very much enjoying your videos!!!

I have a business and am looking to purchase something to make my own shirts. We usually do 2-3 designs a year on light colored Heathered Gilden style shirts. I’ve narrowed it down to sublimation or ink press. Any and all suggestions are very much appreciated. The shirts we get now are “Ink press”. Finish: The transferred design often has a slightly different texture compared to the fabric, and it may not be as durable as HTV. Use: Ideal for complex, multi-colored designs and photographs. Printable Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV): Material: This is a type of vinyl that you can print on using a compatible printer. It has a heat-activated adhesive on the back. Application: After printing, you cut out the design using a cutting machine, weed out the excess vinyl, and then use a heat press to transfer the design onto the fabric.
