I really like “learning” together. It never fails, that no matter how careful I am the first time, I mess up in some way! I talk myself through things like you do. Lol It’s nice knowing I’m not the only one having to figure things out the first time. People generally only post their perfect pieces. You know what would be fun, if we all just posted one of our fails, so we know we have lots of company!

I saw a cool trick on another video for melting the powder. they laid the paper in a cookie tray with a cooling rack folded over it and laid the press on the cooling rack so that you don't have to hold it. I haven't tried it yet, but it beats holding that heavy press over the print. Another trick I've heard is to wait a minimum of 24 hours before washing. Happy sublimating!
@deannaquinn68192 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same thing….use a jelly roll pan instead of wasting cardstock to apply powder and then (after removing excess), put a cookie cooling rack into the pan over the design.

Hi Jennifer. After watching your video several times, I have decided to try the DTF powder sublimation. I have had success on one print, so I decided to put several on a sleeper. I printed them and powdered them all at the same time. I heated the sleeper and the pictures. I did the back first and it turned out perfect! Then I did the prints on the left, then the right. I'm not sure what happened. I can't seem to include my photos, but the prints got worse as I went. Almost faded looking. Would you know what I might have done wrong?
