heat treating h13, w302 tool steel

In this episode I Heat Treat my rivet dies.
They are made from w302 tool steel equivalent to h13 in other parts of the world.
I had to heat treat them myself as I could not find a company in Perth that would do it, very happy with how they came out.

Ha ha cheers bud, the van has been delayed by engineers, I have made the call to just go ahead with my chassis design. It’s been with engineers for 9 weeks now with very little communication back. Super frustrating. Just going to back my design and send it.

@@777nezzy I’m pretty confident in my design, really can’t wait any longer. Was at work for 8 weeks. Really thought I’d be coming home to a pallet of parts to make the chassis

Bit of a passion of mine, love anything with rivets, I want to build cool furniture and other things, eventually one day when we build our house it will be big exposed riveted columns and beams with concrete walls.
