It is the same player that was last year, and they lost last year. Condition picked this year, why - i have no idea. But it is great to watch and it is incredible story. This year they are motivated and everything is going their way, it is almost like they cast some witchcraft and all opponents are confused and they do not know how to win a game. Giannis suddenly is afraid of the ball , Boston can not hit 3 for full 4 games, it is really wired. But it will be great movie story, they drink some Asterix potion before the game and they can not miss. Either that or all the NBA analyst missed by a mile.

Man, Windy and Bontemps are on the anyone but Denver train hard. Anyway if it is Nuggets Heat in the finals, both of these teams have stars who play the right way and deserve it. As a Nuggets fan, feel pretty good but the Heat are not a team to be taken lightly. Should be a great finals.
@kevind4606 Жыл бұрын
Before Bontemps talks about Bam's potential defense on Jok, maybe go back and watch a few of those games where they went head to head. Those were regular season games understood, but Jok is just way to physical and strong for Bam. The Nuggets usually win big and Jok comes out in the 3rd but he still gets his 12-15 rebounds. Bam is a great defender but after having to face sometimes 3 man coverage with LBJ and AD closing in on him, not sure Bam's impact will be quite as high as Bontemps thinks here. Of course they can try some other looks and no one plays the zone like Miami (Miami probably has the coaching advantage), but the Nuggets will not lose because Bam shuts or even slows Jokic down one on one.

The Celtics are probably the most talented team but playoff experience and grit is needed to win a championship. The Heat has the most experience and they have Spoelstra. Nuggets have the most complete team that is versatile, big, strong and quick. The media picked the Suns and the Nuggets won. The media picked the Lakers and the Nuggets are up 3-0 right now. The media picked the Celtics and they are 0-3 right now. Now the media is picking holes in the Nuggets and picking Miami. I love it. Agree with Windhorst that rebounding will be key and also with Bontempts that Miami's only real chance is to cover Jokic one on one and try to take away everybody else while Joker puts up absurd numbers. The reality is Jokic has absolutely physically dominated Bam and the Nuggets have completely dominated Miami in the Jokic era. Bam has been feasting on mediocre bigs but Jokic is an entirely different beast. Miami is just too small to out rebound the Nuggets with 6'8' AG, 6'10' MPJ and Joker along the front line. If Miami doesn't win the board battle they'll lose this series and I don't see any way they can. Still, should be a great series between two true 'teams.'

Jimmy was too young and Luol Deng was good but not great. If the primes of Jimmy and Rose could’ve intersected on the Bulls it would’ve been the stuff of legend

@@jahitrotter4734 d rose is one of fav players so I get you. the problem with rose was where he got his knee surgeries. The hospital he went to is known to do antiquated knee surgeries but they do them well, even George Bush got his knees there. But what’s good for an ex-president isn’t good for a NBA player. There are newer procedures out there that would’ve fixed his knees better. That’s the reason why I say he should’ve been traded so the bulls organization would’ve got the maximum trade value for him after his first knee surgery. It doesn’t help that Tom Thibodeau worked rose so hard after that first knee surgery cause the second need to go out. Rose was such a good dude he didn’t wanna complain, especially to the media.
