He is really stuck in how the “internet Christians” and the “KZbinrs” did him wrong. Persecution complex. I kept thinking what biblical prophet in the Old or New Testament wasn’t mistreated. Jesus constantly told his followers they would be hated. He didn’t say defend yourself against everyone that says something mean. I know what some 50 something year old random lady on the internet says doesn’t count for much but I think he would be wise to step out of ministry for a good 10 years and grown in spiritual maturity and character. Get himself under some sound biblical leadership. Only those who wish to decieve people and are puffed up in their minds wanna argue about a failed prophecy. Why is it that people have to always put conditions on prophecy? When Trump was running and won the first time there were soooo many prophecies from true leaders and it came to pass. When Trump ran the second time Marcus WAS NOT the only person that said God said he would serve a second term. Prophecy is ABSOLUTELY CONDITIONAL. prophecy is based on obedience, and repentance. If you choose to thwart the word of God over your life then everyone has that free will. Honestly I am super disappointed in how Cory came out at him. Furthermore Im not sure why Marcus felt the need to explain himself on this podcast. Do you know how many people called the prophets of the Bible false prophets? I'm more sure now than ever that Marcus is being used from God. The way y'all come after people that have obvious fruit is insane. Annnnd lastly Marcus really was respectful, throughout this podcast Marcus kept giving cory his respect. I dont know Marcus nor have I ever visited his church. But his love for God and the words God has given him have checked out several times. Cant believe this. Maybe Cory has a problem with Marcus. Ive seen this microagression so many times in church, and can smell it a mile away! Rather than accusing someone, be honest and just say Marcus personally rubs you the wrong way. Thank God, he doesnt view us like man does. He doesnt change to fit your personal feelings for people. God SURELY DOESNT judge people just because you feel he should THANK YOU JESUS!! If Marcus has a conversation with someone who can explain why modalism is heresy that would be helpful. If someone would show him in the Scriptures (John 6, 14, 16, 17) that his stance on the trinity is inaccurate that would great. If Marcus took a good hermeneutics course and a Biblical tools and Methods course so that he learned how to exegete a passage and rightly handle the Word of God that would be fantastic. If Marcus understood that getting a prophecy wrong means that he did not hear from God and no Christian should listen to any prophecy of his ever again... that would be terrific.

I somewhat like Marcus, but my God, it's so challenging listening to him. He won't shut up for 2 seconds to listen. I just want to listen to the discussion...one person talks, then the other. But he's trying to dominate the whole conversation. He's so defensive. And to some degree, I get it. If you're not in the KZbin game, it might be hard to relate. But what's tough for me is his huge need to keep jumping in and dominating...it's making the discussion hard to listen to. And throughout this whole discussion, Marcus keeps bringing other names up taking shots. He's acting like peoples opinions don't bother him anymore, but he keeps bringing them up. Corey is not trying to focus on those people....but Marcus keeps deflecting. Stop worrying about those other people. Listen to Corey....do what he says or don't...pray on it. But stop bringing up those other people saying "Let's not act like they're completely innocent"...that's not the point. Stop worrying about your haters. Everyone who disagrees aren't haters...some are...most aren't.

@johntherevelator56223 ай бұрын
Trump is not a savior in the same sense that the Lord Jesus Christ is the savior of our souls, however he is a savior in the sense that God’s using him to save our democracy from communism. Why is God using Trump? Why? Trump is not a professional politician, he is self made billionaire who genuinely loves this country and is not doing it for the money or fame like a Joe Biden(who can be bought and bribed). He’s not perfect and maybe that’s why God’s using him, remember that none of the Lord’s disciples were perfect either but God used them to turn the world upside down. 1 Corinthians 1:27 “God uses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise”.

It's funny to me how Corey can point out pride in someone else, when in my opinion, Corey is very prideful and arrogant. Corey says he forgave the person who asked the judge for the max. According to Corey, he stole money from people in the church who trusted him as a pastor and financial advisor. The person close to him asking the judge for the max had the right to "feel" the way he did at the time. Corey should have been asking for forgiveness, not going on an internet tour over the last few years since he has been discussing this talking about how HE forgave someone affected by his crime! He is making it seems as if Corey was wronged and wrongly accused of the crime he was convicted for. I don't know this man's heart, however, every time I listen to him explain his crime and conviction it really grinds my gears to hear how he makes himself to be some wronged individual. I know we make mistakes, and if Corey was not guilty of the crime, or somehow the "close" friend made up lies or exaggerated the crime in some sense then I can understand him saying he forgave that person. In the case that Corey has explained and in the documents that was shared, Corey was not wronged, nor lied on. HE admitted his guilt and crime so the only person who needs to be asking for forgiveness is Corey. I wish he would stop saying he forgave that man all the time.

@wayneFocus hello brother, we can not say ‘never’ we don’t know what will happen until we are gone into the grave. Until that happens he has a chance to repent so let’s pray and hope for that. Paul is a perfect example, who would have thought a man who persecuted and was the cause of death of Christian’s would have such a change of heart through the grace of God. Let’s be cautious and call out the falsehood while heartedly but let’s also not give up on him or other lost souls. Imagine if Yeshua gave up on us.
@WayneFocus3 ай бұрын
@@morganfox2575 I would never say to stop praying for him, but to give him a platform to spread his heresy is not the way to go. Marcus is very very dangerous, he has 1 million subscribers who he is teaching. Things like pulling snakes out of people's back and that anyone can speak tongues if they truly want to. There has to come a point when you stop dealing with him. The same Paul you mentioned said that you should put someone out of the fellowship for the destruction of the flesh so that the soul may be saved.
@morganfox25753 ай бұрын
@@WayneFocus I hear that, but Corey is publicly trying to give him a chance to speak and is publicly giving him correction for false words and or teachings. It’s open Rebuke. He has in no way endorsed him or anything he has said in regard to their conversation. Did Paul and the disciples not have open discussion with others leaders about the teachings of the Gospel ? One thing we can see from this is how two men Christian proclaiming men handle a disagreement can converse with one another In a respectable manner. I think that also serves us well. Even with Marcus being stubborn about his point we can see he still holds Cory with respect with how he addressed him ‘Sir’ and also from his own mouth how he says Cory is fair to him. Even though Corey is openly rebuking him.

I respect Marcus because he's transparent and consistent on his channel. Is he perfect? Of course not, and the question is rhetorical. There are many people (believers and unbelievers) who have spoken critically about him and his ministry. If you invite someone to your platform and pose accusatory questions publicly, you should expect a public defence. Effectively, people are questioning him to the extent that he’s required to give a defence for his hope and confidence in Christ. 1 Peter 3:13-17 comes to mind at this point. If you’re concerned about correcting him in love, maybe conduct the conversation in private and then ask his permission to broadcast it publicly.
