People don’t get the wider impact of the result, the confidence boost. Arsenal get pumped at City every year, but now they’re the first team to shut them out in 3yrs. That’s HUGE for a team going for the title. We apply 70% of that to most of the remaining games and we come out winners. Rivals are just hurt because we’re not the whipping boys anymore. None had us here last season or even this season, yet we’re here to stay. Knocking a team for defending well and stopping a prolific team with a 3yr long scoring record, my word. Pathetic.

Granted City were without walker and a fully fit stones, but we were without a fully fit Saka, Martinelli and Jesus still isn't sharp. Had all these players been more involved/fitter, I'm sure we would have seen a different game. Arsenal would have been able to offer more in attack and City would have had Walker for better recovery. I'm not saying we would have won the game, but we certainly would have had more going forward and more speed to utilise. Either way, Arsenal getting more hate for holding City to virtually no real chances is madness. City realistically needed to win to propel them above us and put getting 2nd in their hands, whilst hoping Liverpool slip up. Now they need both Arsenal and Liverpool to slip up. Granted, Arsenal, do arguably have the hardest run in, but if we can get back to what we were doing before the international break, it could be a hard ask for us to drop many points. Same for Liverpool, who have come through arguably the hardest part of the season with big injuries to their squad. Players which are starting to come back now. Personally, I feel these City fans don't like and can't take the fact they could end up 3rd in the 3 horse race.

Context. Chelsea are 11th performing well below standards and Poch basically cost them 3 points against City to advance their position in the league.
