Hard to believe someone would toss that 1/32 Tomcat out, its in great shape. Great package Heather received, hope she enjoys the build.😊

I'm building a 1/32 Revell F-14A and it is a beast of a kit. It can be built into a decent looking model but it's taking some patience to work around the issues inherent in the design. I can't believe someone just tossed those into a dumpster.

Great stuff there! I remember the large revell F14 but not that particular iteration. The one I recall is the earlier release with VF 1 decals from the Enterprise. The 1/32 revell kits were about $30 at KB toys in the mid 80’s a great value for the money. I never built the F 14 but did build revell’s 1/32 F15 C & E strike eagle and they both looked great built up. I hope you build the tomcat someday.

Many years ago I had a neighbor that threw out four huge trash bags full of military models I grabbed them all up

Awesome Tomcat kit. My brother-in-law was an AE on F-14 Tomcats back in the day.

I have that Stearman kit. I picked it up from a vendor at a model show a few months ago. I loved it when Ms. Heather claimed the airbrush!

Great video Matt!!! Nice that Heather recieved a package and opened it up on video. I cant believe someone would throw out those 1/32nd scale airplanes. I'm sure they cost some good money. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your weekend.

Yes! I had the earlier release myself. It was a Christmas gift from an uncle I received maybe '82 or '83. Was a fun build from what I remember. Of course I was young and I don't recall what happened to it... enjoy that one Matthew!

I built the Stearman kit long ago - I remember it being a fairly good kit for it's age. In the 1980s I visited two aircraft carriers in Port Everglades. - both had F14 Tomcats. Those planes are a lot bigger in person than you think they are from photos and TV. Since 911 the Navy doesn't do that much anymore but it was very cool to visit the ships when you could. Thanks for sharing !

I find it hard to throw out model kits i have scrapped and decided not to build them again, let alone unbuilt models! The F14 is huge but looks like it will build up relatively easily, and its nice that someone thought of Heather and sent her some kits. I'd like to see her get back into building again since her other projects came out so nicely.

The spru holder is neat, but I think it would take up more space than to just use the model box. Of course if you had a bigger model like the F-14 then I guess it work great for it. I did the charger 3 in1 kit from the 90's.

Hey Man, everything in the mail package was sent to Heather, but nothing is for you. Let her enjoy the gifts. Your channel is not about you; modeling interest is your main mandate.
