This is exactly what I was looking for in a Scarborough Fair cover: soft, beautiful, and slightly melancholic.

I was looking for a performance of the song everywhere and yours is the one I liked it most. It is full of beauty and sounds out of time in the middle of that Street, with that dog, and those comments behind, natural and very femenine, real stuff, which by the way it is what I was exactly looking for. I wrote a tale about Hamlet in England spending one day in the Scarborough fair, and the song gives some lights that enriches the story after the words.

It is not feminine at all, and I am totally against feminism to begin with, for obvious reasons. This song was written and performed by two men, Simon and Garfunkel. In fact, it is talking about a woman that is a man's true love also, in addition to the title and meanings. She does an excellent job, absolutely. No doubt about that. But this is a song written by men and referencing their love also in a female. Just to clear that up.

Had seen this video nearly fifty times now, i love this song because its one of the endless great musik heared by generations and tell it to your childs like a legend. I was looking for a naturaly beautiful version of this song and found a great cover by celia parvey, simon & garfunkel was nice ok, but never found a such greatful and amazing singing of this song like Heather Hammers! That's so sweet. I heard this song was made more than 400 years ago and not much people know about it ( in my country ). But even tho not much people know about it, I still find it's a very soft song with a little of sadness.
