I think Emily Henry does such a good job at depicting Miles in a way that showed how both of them would feel about each other in the beginning & then also showcasing how the perspective changes over time & as they fall in love. I feel like people didn’t like it because they’re used to books being the whole “love at first sight” thing when that’s SO UNREALISTIC.

Things like ride a bike and go to the beach are great because they are realistic things and easy to do with others and then when you check it off it feels great.
