HEATHERS THE MUSICAL & DOUGHNUTS

I had the honor of playing Heather Duke in an amazing production of HEATHERS The Musical @ The Blue Barn in Omaha, NE. The show closed yesterday (June 19th) unfortunately.... and I am so bummed that I had to say goodbye to such a lovely, fun, and talented cast! I had such an enriching experience doing this show!

Why am I having so much fun watching a video that was posted two years ago? I was really late to the "let's like heathers" boat and then I found a recording of this and I watched the behind the scenes videos and I'm suddenly both happy that everyone has so much fun and sad that I won't ever ever get to see it myself. As a person who is super obsessed with musical theatre but has only the most bare bones singing abilities, and will most likely never get a chance in any production of anything, these kind of things are my favorite.

OMG! Yalls production looked so good. and the freaking costumes for the heathers were amazing! Ive seen some horrible looking ones on youtube. lol. but I have a QUESTION! my university is doing this show, is there anyway you could maybe give suggestions on songs to sing for the audition? IM SO EFFING LOST! lol. I'm willing to go for any of the heathers, and possibly veronica since he's very open with colorblind casting. lol I have the range for it so I don't see why not. if there was a song that would work for all four lol that would be perf.

I always try to choose a song that shows versatility in my singing and acting ability! So something funny is always a good choice!
