Hi Steve, don't like to put things on like that because Heathrow airport at the best of times keep moving the goal posts. Luggage plays a massive effect at times and because Heathrow at present are short staffed it's always unpredictable unfortunately.

If you are parking your car, this will be the only Fee you will pay for. Dropping off someone at the drop off point would be a different charge of £5 and you would have to pay that on line. Link in description ok. Thanks for watching 👍

Great video, one question. I have purchased my short stay parking before hand on the Heathrow website. What is shown on this video will it be the exact same car park and as I have already prepaid I assume the barriers would just automatically open? Many thanks

IF you have Pre-Paid, then the barriers will automaticity open for you.

Richard are you picking up someone? IF so follow my video, IF you are dropping off someone at T5 then follow Drop-Off signs. IF you are dropping off, when you come up the ramp, just keep to your Left Side. 👌

What floor you park your car on there will be payment machines right inside the lobby by the lifts. 👍

Oversized vehicles should park below. To get to this area DO NOT go up the ramp as illustrated in my video, keep to your Left Side which it is sign posted. I will do another video on this in the future and advise on price too…thank for watching

Is it possible to say how long on average it takes to get through Terminal 5. If the first 29 minutes of waiting cost £5.90, waiting costs could mount up. Is it best to drive to somewhere near Heathrow and wait until your passenger phones? I will be coming up from Hampshire and never done this.

Download and Monitor the flight you are waiting for using the Latest "London Heathrow" App to your mobile phone. Wait until the Flight Lands, Once it does, let 20mins go by then go into the Car Park, that should be okay or you get your passenger to text you once through Passport Control and then go into the Terminal, this way you can ensure you will be in and out within 29mins....hope that helps...thanks for watching 👍

Just go to short stay Car Park take a ticket and pay it on your way out. Simple. No point in doing Pre-Paid for Short Stay' Car Park really...thanks for watching.

When you park, your better off paying parking straight away before meeting passengers or you can pay the £6 or £9.40p anything over 29mins.

Yes you can, You have a great opportunity by parking right next to the lifts Where they are situated by the lobby 👌

@John Beswick Just use any of the credit card facilities on the machines. Best to pay on route back to car. As for parking charges please check out one of my other videos on my channel. There are no special rates for blue badge holders John OK.

I'm thinking, as the passenger I'm picking up has a blue badge, they should probably ask the passenger assistant to take them to the departure ramp and I will register the blue badge & flight and pick them up at departures. (Picking up at departures was always the best option at the old T1 as it saved time and money).

@@andybarnard4575 From what I can see on the Heathrow website you still need to park in one of the car parks for all pick-ups. There are disabled, wheelchair accessible spaces there

@@madgeorrity9046 Since my comment I've done a disabled drop off and pick up. Drop off £5, pick up £5.90. For drop off if you have the disabled persons badge and flight number before you drop off you can register them and avoid the £5, but the £5.90 is a LHR disability tax that cannot be avoided. The pick up is height restricted and most disabled adapted vehicles (minibus) that I use will not fit through the barrier, so I had to use a normal car which was OK for that particular passenger. For pick up the airport assistants dropped to South meeting point.
