Hi Richard, Glad the video was helpful. This video was a quick overview of a smaller simple system. We will be uploading a larger heatmiser installation, working alongside vaillant heating controls soon. It controls an un-vented cylinder, conventional radiator system and 2 separate underfloor heating manifolds. This will be a more detailed video which may be useful to you. Thanks for your positive feedback Cheers Paul Watson

Hi, don’t suppose you have a guide to the uh4 system, I see this one is a uh8. Doing a self build and not quite sure whether we have everything for a zone. We have a ds1 and a activator, and the pipes/wires. are we missing anything ?

Can I use it from my work place via the app on my phone to set the temperature before I arrive home?

Really interesting thanks . Where are you based ?

After a bit of help, I’m looking at one of these to control an electric radiator and immersion tank. So when the stat is turned to ‘heating on’ does that put the live down the N.C terminal? Tia

Thanks for this, I’ve connected up all my my thermostats but there doesn’t seem to be anything happening at the HU8 system. Is this a connectivity issue?

So if you have two underfloor heating zones on the ground floor, and the rest is just radiators that are boiler controlled, that's all done with the UH8-RF, right? Or can the Heatmiser 2-zone work also? Or does the 2-zone not control the boiler

I'm helping a friend out. This house has 3 x Heatmiser UH4 controllers. There are two boilers in the house that will be running in parallel with each other because the house is so big. All three boiler enables go back to the boilers. Is it literally a case of joining them in parallel so if any of the UH4 call for heat it will turn the boiler on?

Hi, Can i just exchange a standard timeclock for the neo-e without the hub? Im assuming the hub is just to have control via the app? Cheers Andy
@HeritageElectrical3 жыл бұрын
Hi Andy Yes the hub is for remote access and programming only. Heatmisers equipment functions as a stand alone heating controls. Cheers paul

Evening I've just installed a 7 port underfloor heating manifold and the manufacturer has given me a UH4 heatmiser dose this also have the WiFi built in in or shall I exchange for the uh8 heatmiser
@HeritageElectrical3 жыл бұрын
Hi Ray The wifi is not built into any of the models. If only have 4 zones to control then the uh4 is ok. You need a neo hub to get the system online. Thanks for watching. Heritage electrical 🙂

This may sound a bit vague but my daughter moved into a new house last August and theirs is a heatmiser system. The relay box I recall is the same or similar to the one in the video. They have individual thermostats in each room. (4 or 5 zone, Radiators upstairs). but no app. Do you think this can be retrofitted. My guess is that it can be. All the controls and manifold are in a cupboard where the router is located as all the ethernet cables go in there. If the relay box is the same would it be a question of just plugging in a hub?
@HeritageElectrical4 жыл бұрын
Hi Paul Apologies for the late reply. If the thermostats your already have are Neo stats, You will need a Neo hub to get it online. After you have installed the hub the system needs re programming. Cheers Paul

I have 2 loops in the hall room due to the size is it possible to connect both loops actuator to one thermostat. I have exactly the same Heatmiser system or I need two thermostats for two loops
@HeritageElectrical3 жыл бұрын
Hi Eric, apologies for the late reply. Yes you can: you would wire both actuators to the UH8 zone relating to the thermostat you'd like to use.

Can heatmiser uh8rf be linked to boiler opentherm as i am minded its is 230v not a low voltage as required by opentherm. Have a similar setup with neoair and neo hub with the wireless relay
@HeritageElectrical4 жыл бұрын
Hi Abhishek. UH8 or UH8 rf are not compatible with opentherm controlled boilers. If you would like heatmiser equipment for this you need - heatmisershop.co.uk/wireless-combi-boiler-wifi-smart-control-kit/ Hope this is helpful. All the best. Paul Watson.

Not more efficient unless your boiler can modulate that low to keep one stat satisfied. Better off with weather compensation and the whole system on one zone. No problems with cold floors etc

Hestmiser controls are not good .I have 3 RF v2.They all in the same place .3 different temperatures.After one month at one of them the sensor temperature faild.

Hi, Hope you are well. Try using external sensors if you think the built in sensors are not accurate enough. There are connections on the Neo stat for additional air and floor temperature sensors. You can have the stat controlled by all three at one time for more accuracy. All the best Paul Watson
