the piano gc got me motivated i got a 15 win streak to c3 div iv i won like 5 games in this div , my MMR was gc but the game refused to give it to me , the whole lobby had gc and even the team that lost , then i lost 3 games and the game put me at div 3 again

100% heatseeker should be a permanent extra modes playlist or at least come back more often than it does. It's incredibly fun and now that I know you can do these types of plays I want to get in there and try it out. It could be beneficial for learning how to air roll better for regular soccar

Yeah it's an incredible game mode, it has helped me with backboard defence, like a year or two back it gave me the foundation for aerial skills. The only problem is that, there's always one who will non stop chase demos in that game mode

Yep, when I first start “really” playing heat seeker was out, I legit could barely fly. I grinder it all week it was there and the next week back to ranked was able to aerial and score fairly consistently. I’m praying this becomes a permanent mode, super useful & fun.

Boostergold in 2020 was in this small streamer discord with me long ago along with Chriso. I remember playing heatseeker with chriso when that small streamer went live doing custom games. I stopped playing rocket league in 2021 but I knew boostergold was going at it when he hit the world record for most touches in heatseeker around 2020 to 2021. Im very glad to see him on Sunless video and hope they still remember little old me in those custom games 😂😂

It’s always nice to see sub communities find other game modes that isn’t basic rocket league and turn it into something more. If the rlcs did a small tournament of the other modes it’ll be a nice change of pace. Those down times between the 3rd regionals and majors cud be a good way to shine light on communities like these. And also help repopulate the game modes. Also I agree with the seasonal game modes. Grind its rank mode and each time the skill ceiling will rise higher and higher. Communities like these is what make the game more and more appreciative

I remember the first time I saw someone playing upfield and attempting redirects. I immediately spent every game doing my best to read for redirects, reading the backboard bounce, etc. Even just at champ level it elevates the game so much.

Always loved heatseeker since it was introduced into rocket league. It is incredible that these heatseeker-ers have taken the game mode so far. When first playing, I did think it was also just a fun camping designed game to see how fast you could get the ball going before you couldn't save it. The feeling is always a feeling of awe when it reaches max speed. I'm glad that people can play rocket league how they want to play it. It would be great to see how long it would take a pro team to catch up to them and get even one day, but I don't see that happening. Like that last video you uploaded, i didn't know about you and ive been playing since release, Sunlesskhan. I appreciate your videos. Thanks

This was easily my favourite RL video I've ever seen. I absolutely love Heatseeker and always gravitate to it when it's on rotation - but had no idea this community existed. I really hope Heatseeker gets it's own permanent fixture in ranked, that would be incredible. Tournament play as well! I'd 1000% watch a heatseeker tournament, and will be looking for the previous tournaments on KZbin after watching this.

Haven't played Rocket League in a couple years, but Heatseeker was my favourite mode. Won me quite a few 1v1 tourneys. My greatest moment was getting into a staredown with an opponent who had control of serving the ball but refused to budge. It went into overtime and lasted for -- no joke -- over 20 minutes of both of us just not moving. Eventually they got tired, blinked first, and I scored. I seem to recall I found myself on Boostergold's stream a few times, too. The RL player-base is beyond toxic, so I can't say I'm unhappy I left, but there are days when I miss good ol' Heatseeker.
