thank ya. very nice of you to say. To be honest, I had sung this about.... 3 times before. I was ALWAYS pushing too hard. Too gravelly ALL the time. it was straining my voice and just not sounding good and this time, I kept some really clean stuff in the verses and graveled it up in SPOTS and then graveled it hard in the endings. so... that prob was better but my instinct is to gravel it 100% to SOUND more like Dio but.... I just said screw it. I'll do it the best I can and let it be.

I mean... synths were exploding into music and rock was all over the place and disco kind of came and went and all the other styles sort of just plodded along. Let's not even talk about rap. or today's pop music or pop-country. It's written to appeal to 2 year olds.

For me, the rock of the 60's, 70's and 80's and to some extent into the mid 90's is still in my soul. Some of the best damn music ever made was during that era, but there's still a glimmer of hope, especially with these kids in Greta Van Fleet, those young dudes do capture that raw power of that era.

thx. I just found some settings using chroma key and color correction which has gamma and offset and such. basically was able to nearly remove the yellow foam background, but at some expense to my facial quality.
