I bought the album in1980 when it was first released. I was 12 at the time and really enjoyed heavy music. Living in England, most people were into 2tone music, but it was a magical time for rockers. I remember buying Back In Black, Wheels of Steel, Ready An' Willing, Down To Earth,No Place To Run,Chinatown and probably missing out on loads of other great albums by great bands. Magical times, and I love playing the live versions on youtube. All this doom and gloom really cheers me up lol

Dio was always going to write and sing for Black Sabbath at some point. It was written in the stars. The Heaven and Hell and Mob Rules albums are classic pieces of creative work. Heaven and Hell in particular is elite. Black Sabbath created their own genre - not many bands can say that.
