The last time I was to see Ronnie. My father and Ronnie were friends from their teenage years so we went backstage after. As always Ronnie was so appreciative and gracious. What a voice!! He ALWAYS delivered the goods!! RIP RJD

Yeah, I was just recently reading about how Tom Keifer had lost his voice by 1994, just maybe 7 years after Cinderella first broke out as a successful band. But Ronnie had been singing in successful bands from 1976 til 2009. He had actually been singing since like the early to mid 60s!

Remembering the first time I heard this (on cassette) and could not believe that only one performer vocalized the “angelic” and “demonic “ parts of the song (high and low registers). Amazing entertainer-excellent live concerts. My all time favorite rocker...Rest in Peace.

I remember buying the album when it came out and it was a little different than the first Dio with Sabbath. But it showed the diversity of Sabbath and Dio being able to take anything he sang and turned it into GOLD! RIP RONNIE WE MISS YOU AND YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE ROCK INDUSTRY AND YOUR LOVE OF MUSIC!

I went to an RJD memorial tribute yesterday on Long Island. The money raised went to the Stand Up and Shout Charity and was fully supported by Wendy Dio. Geoff Tate from Queensryche spoke about him and also sang .. it was wonderful to see all the love people had for Ronnie and there was not a dry eye in the house when they showed a video commemorating his life. This was always my favorite song by him .. thanks for posting this video :)

I have such fond memories of dio's albums with Sabbath. I think they really do stand the test of time and are arguably 2 of the best metal albums of all time. Maybe not the best of all time.. but I'd put both in the top 20.

I saw this show when they came through Philly back in 07. One of the things I will always remember is how loud those volume swells Tony was doing during this song were (4:45).
