Sharing the stories of these iconic chalets, perched on the cliffs of Cornwall's most unsung peninsula.
Filmed at Whitsand Bay while people swam and played on the beach. From the cliff you can watch dolphins, enjoy astonishing views and catch an immense sunset.

Gareth Lee's 'lifeline' soundtrack to this video will always be the song I associate with my brother in law Clive Johnson, who we laid to rest today 26th May 2022. He is speaking at 0.19 on this video. Anyone who knows the cliff probably encountered Clive at some stage during his frequent visits since 1968. I have lived in Truro, all my life, but was introduced to the cliff back in 1998. I grew to love the area and even got married to my wife at Rame Church in 2009. Such a sad day today for all that knew and loved such a beautiful man and peaceful soul. Rest in peace 'Cliff Man' and may you forever remembered by us all. Thankyou for this beautiful video, I will view it whenever I want to be reminded of the beauty of the Cliff, its people and the last 24 years of my life of visits to the chalet.

I had the best years of my life at Whitsand Bay, walked across the beaches many times. My brother had a chalet at the bottom of the cliff near the shop.

What a sweet little film, thanks for posting, Whitsand Bay has been my playground since the early 60's & oneday my ashes will be scattered out on Rame Head, I love the place.

The man who lives next to the beach with his family there was the first man in the world to cross the Pacific Ocean solo-handed I bought his book and he is a very nice man, also gave us free ice cream
