A few months ago I traveled with my friends right after graduation. It was late into the night after everyone went to bed and I was at the shore with two of my friends. It was very dark and you could barely see the waves or the horizon. I was playing music on my phone and this song came up. I turned around to see my friends kissing for the first time. All the stars were aligned, we graduated high school, we were on in island, life seemed perfect and the song felt like a happy song. Fast forward to today, they broke up because she had to go to college, my best friend also went to college, my other best friend was diagnosed with a terminal disease, and the country I live in suddenly became a war zone. This song is no longer happy and my feelings resonate with this cover. I liked it very much thanks 🙏🙏
