@@Multibiatcheyy okay then. Spoilers ahead for those who don't wanna be spoiled. Basically, Jun Wu is White No Face and is responsible for the fall of Xianle. He drove Xie Lian crazy, even convinced a bunch of people to stab Xie Lian with a sword (that scene is gruesome, I tell you) and pushed Xie Lian to the point of becoming a second white no face and nearly sending a second wave of human face disease onto Yong An. All because when they first met, Xie Lian said "Body in abyss, Heart in paradise".

It was SO WORTH THE WAIT. The animators didn’t have to go this hard, but we SO benefit from the fact that they did. The detail in both the Heavenly Capital and Ghost City backgrounds! The facial expressions! The very distinct male and female forms of Shi Qingxuan! The EPIC entrance of Hua Cheng! If the donghua keeps it up, it will stand as THE definitive adaptation of the novel.

Watched it today with a group of friends and we went crazy! It was really fun to talk about the novel on Donghua. The first episode is so beautiful, Hua Cheng is so hot! There were rare moments when we didn't scream lol. My favorite part was the look on Xie's face while Shi QingXuan spoke and when Xie touched the ring with Hua's ashes when he felt his presence, it was so beautiful! I look forward to the new episodes ❤❤❤
