I’m pretty sure this season is no longer available in mainland china, only in Hong Kong and Macau regions, as well as overseas. So that’s why they no longer need to adhere to the censorship so tightly I think?? I read through the comments on the Chinese bilibili website under this episode, and most of the comments are people from mainland china discussing using VPN to switch to Hong Kong IP to be able to watch it. Also on the Chinese bilibili website, the season 2 page with the 2 episodes available for watching is titled with the phrase “only for Hong Kong and Macau regions”, whereas the season 2 page without this phrase does not have any available episodes on it at all. But of course, I’m not 100% sure. I’m only taking an educated guess here haha

If it helps anyone who ISN'T a Mandarin speaker, the actual dialogue is actually more polite and in-character than the English subs. For example, XL asks: "Then what is the correct posture?" What he actually says is: "Oh if that's the case, may I please ask, what is the correct posture?" When HC says in the English sub: "No, that's not right. It's like this... like I do." What he actually says is: "Not right... it's like this... follow me." And the scene that made me LOL: When LQQ says: "What does this mean?... Who is that? Why are you hitting me?" He actually says: "What is the meaning of this?! ... WHO?!? Why the heck did you hit me?" SQX then actually replies: "Hah... a steam bun, so what (what's the fuss)? It's already easier for you, you still don't want to shut it?!?" Also, it's not "a half-eaten steamed bun"... they actually say that it's "an unfinished steamed bun." Or perhaps, direct translation is "'haven't finished eating' steamed bun." Also... when XL says this in the English subs: "Is this how you do it?" He actually says: "Is it done like this?" To which HC replies in the subs: "Yeah, that's right." But he actually says: "Yes, it's like this." And then he says in the subs: "Wanna open it up and see?" But he actually says: "Open and see see." in a gentle voice. "See see" in Mandarin is a cuter/gentler way of asking someone to look. Earlier on, SQX also says "see see" when he asks for a mirror to check his appearance. He was being cute. :) Can you imagine HC saying "Yeah" or "Wanna" to XL??? Exactly. Gosh my nose is bleeding from the Eng sub's disrespect to Taizi Dianxia. HC is already sharpening E'Ming.
