I want to thank you with all my heart. My broken heart as a counselor who works with people who have been hurt by the church and it's legalistic and cruel theology at times. I have been able to point some of my clients to the Bible project so that they can find balance and healing And a different perspective on the love of God and even the Bible itself. There are millions of people who have been hurt by the church, and independent projects like yours are critical for people like that. You are rescuers, educators, out of the box thinkers, like Jesus was, and so refreshing. Thank you for having the courage to stand up in the midst of all the craziness right now that is going on in the Christian communities. Stay strong and true to the love of God that you shine for. I've experience immense hurt from the church myself. Bible Project helped me press further into the Lord, to understand HIS heart for humanity and enabling me to forgive and love even the broken parts of our global church. The pain I've experienced no longer has a hold on me. No, thank you! I've grown more confident in my teaching and am expectant for God to be exactly who He says He is. Like Abraham, but when I watch Bible Project, I grow strong in faith. Tim, thank you for voicing my heart and understanding of God, while also challenging some of my presuppositions. The Heaven and Earth video is still my favorite! When I showed it to my then-10 year-old grandson, he said, "Wow, Jesus fixed it all!" I have been reading the Bible through every year since 1981, and it has changed me in so many ways. Your resources continue to inspired me and are a part of my daily readings, the Bible studies I write and publish with First Place for Health, and a group of over 500 women who read the Bible through in community on Facebook. I feel like you are family and praise God for all you do for His Kingdom. The other night I finished the classroom course on Jacob and I wept as I was doing the dishes. The part that blew me away was the reflections of all the participants and how this ancient story was so life changing and relevant for their lives today. Their takeaways were profound. In 2014 I moved house and started a new life. I found the Bible Project by accident. I followed the BP reading through the Bible in a year. I found it very easy to follow especially the short videos. BibleProject changed my life. I am in the middle of young kid phase of life, but I have and eventually will get back to the Classroom part of the program. It is the Bible Project, and specifically the Genesis class, that I credit for the paradigm shift in how I approach Scripture. Moving from an historical perspective to "The Bible is ancient Jewish meditation literarure" and should be treated as such has opened the floodgates of heaven and the wisdom contained within. Learning to read and meditate outside my 21st century western world mindset has brought volumes of enlightenment, gratitude, and joy to my life.

Many times I’ve experienced what I thought might be heaven on earth. I can only describe it as elegant, peaceful and beautiful. I live on the bank of a little river, in the foothills of east Tennessee. Sometimes, looking across my backyard, onto the river, It is elegant, peaceful and beautiful. It’s like heaven. One time, I was doing a fast walk around the perimeter of our army post, in Iraq. There came across the land a giant dust storm. I was quickly consumed in the dusty, dark storm, when it started raining giant drops of muddy rain, with lightening and thunder. I wore black PT shorts and short sleeved gray t-shirt, soaked in my sweat, rain and mud. I had around my head and face a long wrap of t-shirt cotton knit, 8-10 layers around my head, nose and mouth. I wore motorcycle goggles. As I stopped and stood, beaten by the muddy rain, the sand and big wind, I was absolutely struck still and silent, in aw. It was elegant, peaceful and beautiful. I wonder if God was there. One time, immediately after doing a PreOp visit, getting ready for a c-section. I was going to place a SAB, sub arachnoid block, plus an epidural cath in a 400+ lbs., mother to be, I walked toward the nursing station saying to God, “You and I both know she’ll do better with a natural birth”. Just got it outta my mouth, I had only taken five steps away from her room. Her RN yelled out the door, “We need some help in here!” 3-4 nurses came running. She delivered a healthy baby, easy peasy and fast. It was elegant, peaceful and beautiful. Was heaven there? There are other events where I had to think, “Is it God, maybe heaven, here on earth”? This I know, God, the Lord, Jesus and my helper, The Holy Spirit, are in my heart, mind and soul. I wonder if I am in heaven…from an old vet, retired in the US foothills of the east Tennessee Smokies.

I'm very thankful for bible project, back in early 2022 I just had a bible but didn't really understand anything about Jesus or the bible. The bible project was a great introduction for me to see how cool it actually is, when I was younger I always found the most interest in things with great depth you could get lost in for months. I am a born again (for 62 years) 69 year old man who has struggled with ADHD (undiagnosed since I was born in the 50s) You have brough a passion for the Old Testament, helping me understand so clearly how the Torah brings life to the New Testament through hyperlinks to the Old. Wow! That was an amazing video! I found myself overflowing with emotion as I listened to all the contributions. THANK YOU SO MUCH for all you do! I have been in the classroom setting over the last couple of years.
