🍌 Heavenly Banana Cake Ever.

Hello. I am Joconde!
This time, I made a banana cake. If you make it with ripe bananas, you can taste the deep banana flavor.

This banana cake is almost the same as how to make carrot cake. The only different ingredients are bananas.
Here, the Heavy cream with mascarpone cheese and pastry cream are layered. Their harmony is so fantastic!
It's really easy to make and has a lovely taste.
In addition, I wanted to show the loveliness by decorating the Pastillage daisy flower that I made in the previous video.
Flowers made from Sugar paste are a little harder than fondant. I put it on the whipped cream, but the surface lasts a long time even though it is slightly moist.
I think this is very suitable for cake decorations.

130g Banana
35g Walnuts
85g Cake flour
4g Baking powder
1~2g Cinnamon
0.5g Salt
2 Eggs
70g Sugar
66g Melted butter
♥︎ Pastry Cream
280g Milk
1 Vanilla bean
3 Egg yolks
60g Sugar
25g Cake flour(or corn starch)
♥︎Mascarpone whipped cream
100g Mascarpone cheese
400g Heavy cream
40g Sugar
♥︎Sugar syrup
60g Water
15g Sugar
6g Malibu(or Rum) (optional)

베이킹을 시작한지 별로 안되었는데 케이크가 만들고 싶어져서 요 케이크 처음으로 만들어봤어요..! 아이싱은 처음이라 엉망진창 이었지만 정말 맛있었어요!! 제누와즈에서 나는 은은한 시나몬 향, 달달한 바나나향 간간히 씹히는 호두에 페이스트리 크림에서는 바닐라빈 때문인지 고급진 바닐라 맛이 나고 크림에서는 찐한 우유맛이 나서 정말정말 맛있었어요ㅠㅠㅜ 이제부터 케이크하면 조꽁드! 할거같아요ㅠㅠㅜㅜ

even without the custard/pastry cream, whipped cream, and decor, I can imagine the cake itself must be very good. Usually, cake that is baked for decoration doesn't focus much on tasting, but the batter for this cake seemed well thought. I might gonna try baking just the cake, it looked soo good when you made it :)

@@abacate1100 yes. I was thinking the same. When I do apple pie with custard cream I always put mashed apples on the cream and IT IS HEAVENLY ☺. So here I just keep wondering if we could add mashed bananas to the custard or at least little pieces of chopped banana, but I am kind of afraid if it could ruin it 😓...please Joconde, share your opinion...🙏

You did it really very well.. I loved your way of showing.. Because people watch these videos when they don't know how to bake and won't be experts.. You showed it very patiently each and every step that too not by using any sofesticated tools.. I saw many videos but they all show professional level baking, many specific items where I have to search everywhere.. I find this easy and simple.. Especially even the decoration.. Just lovely ❤ I make a recipe very similar to this! Except I beat the custard and whipped cream together to make a diplomat cream and I won't add any nuts to the batter. I prefer everything to be smooth and I dont want nuts stuck in my teeth for 9 years when I'm enjoying cake lol. These soft banana cakes are really good if you make it with a chocolate cream as well! Or if you use a no-bake cheesecake recipe made with gelatin layered with this cake. That's what I did last time. It sets up nice and firm, and you can make a big batch of it the night before a party. The chocolate and cream cheese was phenomenal with the banana flavor. It was the best cake I have made so far ❤

Only thing I would do differently in making this beautiful Banana cake would be to make that custard a banana custard and then add a layer of freshly sliced bananas into the custard between each layer of the cake. Then and only then would that be the best banana cake ever. I LOVE banana flavored anything! There used to be a grocery store here in Oregon called “Kienows” (sp?) and they had a fabulous banana cake that they were well known for in this area. The store went out of business years ago and I have mourned the loss of their banana cake in my life ever since. It had fresh bananas in the whipped cream between the layers and in the frosting as well. It had to be kept refrigerated ... if it lasted for long after you brought it home that is. Most of the time it was finished off in hours.

in a convection oven you preheat to 170c, bake at 160c for 35 min. in a conventional oven you preheat to 180c, bake at 170c for 35 min. look at 3:42 in the video.
