Heading right over to buy this pattern. The haringbone stich is one I have wanted to learn for ever, as it looks closest to traditional Nalbinding my grandnan used to do. And your vid is the best I can find. I am making my youngest a traditional scandinavian winter set and wanted to use this stich. Thank you ever so much for helping me continue my family's tradition with a modern chrochet twist. 🥰

I dislike the herring bone stitch Can I just single crochet instead and the pattern still work out? Or is there another stitch you can recommend that this pattern wil still work out
