The recipe looks delicious, however I have to say I could listen to you talk all day. The tone and accents are just LOVELY. Glad I came across this channel!

These look Sooooo DELICIOUS!!! 2 things that I will have to change in mine. I am very allergic to avocado and my stomach can not tolerate wasabi. I had it before in a regular Sushi Roll and loved the taste. I will have to use something else. The pickled plumb sounds good. Thank You for sharing Your talents with Us again. Bless You And Your Family. 😊👍🏼👋🏼

What feels like a million years ago when I was a raw vegan, cauliflower rice wasn't yet a "thing" so I used jicama. :) Fresh lettuce also works instead of cooked greens. You've inspired my food choices for next week so I'll be having sushi and ramen!

Heavenly Fan - did you know that the shiritake (konjac) noodles also come as rice?! I wonder if they’d behave themselves in nori rolls - I think I’ll have to try. Plus, it made me wonder if they’d work in any of the traditional sweet rice dishes ... I see lots more experimenting on the horizon. Thanks for another lovely video.

I love the way you used the cooked, green leaves as a liner for the wet ingredients. I'll have to do that next time. But I would use avocado instead of vegan mayo to hold the cauliflower rice together, just my preference. ;) Thanks for the recipe! :)

Yummmmm, i just bought Nori Sheets but never used Cauliflower rice! Cauliflower is or can be problematic for me due to Hashimoto's so i usually give it a miss but i love Cauli, so i am going to do this! Thank You!

That was enthralling. I had not realised that Sushi was not just fish. It looks like you are going to polish off all that's there but NORMALLY how many portions would you say that made? There is an Asian SuperMarket in Brentwood (think that's right) N London which I have been to a few times and I have one near me which I have not, but meant to. Must do so. Many thanks.
@HeavenlyFan5 жыл бұрын
Yes, sushi is referring to the way of cooking/preparation and not restricting to using fish. I've heard of the Brentwood supermarket but it's a bit far from me so I tend to go to Japan Centre in central London. Bit more pricy though!
@HeavenlyFan5 жыл бұрын
As for portion size, it's firmly for one :))

You should have squeezed out al the liquid out of your cauliflower first , this way you won’t have a soggy roll. No need for leaves.

You can just use large, green leaves, like the ones in this video (cabbage, kale, collard greens, etc.), either raw or cooked, and roll the ingredients in the leaves.
@northshoregirl723 жыл бұрын
@@cdel9829 Yes! I would suggest using the same method with leaves, rice, leave, filling and roll. Keeps the structure that way. Sushi is just as much about presentation as taste. 😋

A strip of cream cheese goes really good in sushi, but if you do use cream cheese put a strip of cucumber too so that the sushi roll has more 'bite' to it.
