Heaven's Audventure hey girl! I’m taking audit in a week and just wondering if you did mqms or mock exams for audit and what your scores were? I’ve been doing nonstop mqms and I’ve been doing pretty well (mid to high80’s) but I’m wondering if it’s really comparable to the actual exam?

Congratulations on passing REG!!!! REG was my last section to pass and I just found out I passed and finished up on the 19th. It took me 3 times to pass it, so I was super excited to find that out. But keep at it, and you will get through it. I wish I would’ve found your videos sooner while I was in the middle of taking the exam. They are very entertaining and provide some great advice. They are so relatable to the things I was going through while taking the exam. Keep at it though. Best of luck!!

YAAAAAAAY!!! You got it, girl. Frankly, if you did that well on REG, I bet you'd do okay on FAR. I recommend taking audit right away again and then immediately shifting your focus to FAR. You got this!!! You're so close!!

LeahValerie86 yeah!! I’m so freakin’ pumped!! I feel like I kinda got lucky with REG lol I was so surprised I passed! But I don’t want to even think about taking on FAR during busy season so my current plan is to tackle Audit right away and then get BEC done by Christmas 💪🏼 then move on to FAR in January/February

I would want to see them take todays version of it one these days compared to when they took it hundreds of years ago that was probably a walk in the park compared to what candidates have to endure nowadays. Congrats on REG! And good luck on audit this time around. Have you tried looking at the AICPA blueprints in the “analysis” section for potential SIMS? That really helped me pass when I retook audit! Anyways, you’ve passed REG you can definitely pass the others in 18 months!

Yeah, you should try it! Anything that is checked in the analysis section is fair game for SIMS. That really helped me narrow down what to focus on. SIMS were my weakness on audit. I think I heard you mention the same.

Heaven's Audventure i really thought that i failled REG after taking the exam! I said that i would be happy if i even got a 60. Little did i know i got 79! I couldn’t believe it and thought that i’ve entered a wrong ID 😂. Whatever happens, please stay strong and dont you ever give up. I feel what you’re feeling right now especially after passing REG. expired47 I think audit is very challenging for some people and a breeze for others. It probably has to do with how you think and problem solve. It’s extremely difficult for me (obviously) lol but you may not struggle with it as bad. I know several people who easily scored in the 90s and others who can’t pass it either. But best of luck!! I do plan to keep making videos when I can, I’m glad you enjoy them

Congrats on REG. Besides FAR, I'd say that's a great one to be done with. Audit, man, I am glad I wasn't an auditor when I took it, because I know a number of auditors that needed multiple attempts on it. What they test and what actually happens in the real world is such a divide with that exam. You're generally consistent though, so I think 4th time will be the charm. I find my weak areas tend to be things I don't enjoy studying. If that's the case with you, hopefully you can pick one or two "makes me sleepy" subjects and knock it out.

Frank Provo yeah I’m so so glad I got REG finished before the tax reform changes are made. So pumped! And yeah for me working in government.. we obviously go by GASB standards at work everyday and not FASB. So that tricks my brain on the exam along with the subjectivity of the whole exam. Haha I’ll get it eventually

How was your REG study process, how many weeks did you study? How do you recommend studying for it with Becker?

Jonathan Kan I had a very good experience with Becker with REG. Everybody requires a different amount of study time to pass but I studied 20 hours a week for 11 weeks for REG.

Bashir Rostom REG is soo hard, I have no idea how I passed the first time. I know the feeling though - I can’t pass Audit at all. Lol but don’t give up. If simulations are your weakness in REG, redo all of your study material SIMS over and over and over again. Same with multiple choice. I think repetitions are key.

I failed AUD twice. I watched youtube videos to help me understand harder concepts. I bought another test bank that explained better than Gleim did. And I joined the FB groups; that helped alot!!!!! If I can pass at the age of 49, after going back to school, you can also.

Do you know what areas you are not 100% in? That topic you are praying is not on the exam, the one ignore when you get to those questions, the one you get confused on the first words. Especially the increase/decrease SIMS. Have you looked at Another 71 or the FB group?

Have you ever postponed an exam? My reg is in 7 days. But i havn't finished blaw yet. and I am doing second review for tax. Havn't finish corpration. I don't want to fail since next year will be totally changed.

hui zhu I haven’t postponed an exam since I’m a rebel and don’t schedule my exams until I’m ready haha but I have rescheduled an exam and taken it 2+ weeks earlier. There was a $35 fee which stinks but it’ll be worth it if you pass it! If you’re not done with your material and don’t feel confident yet I would definitely reschedule yet. Especially since this is the last window before REG changes. You want to be the most confident you can be. You have all the way until December to take it so don’t rush yourself! You’ve got this
