The leads definitely sound artificial but I'm actually blown away by the rhythm, especially with how well it handles palm mutes on the power chords. first vst I've seen that can actually chug.
@Tremendouz3 жыл бұрын
Oh, this is quite old and bad, I've improved my lead programming quite a bit since haha. Yeah, H7S can definitely chug but it's not great at faster palm mutes (think of power metal)

@@shucklebug8094 If you want to try something free before committing to a purchase, Unreal Instruments Metal-GTX can sound decent. Definitely good enough for getting your ideas "on paper". My choice for ease of use would be Ample Sound's Metal Hellrazer or Eclipse.

@@Tremendouz Awesome. Glad to hear. I'd like to make a request. I'm not sure if you're willing to make some tutorials on how to make metal covers from scratch using Virtual plugins since there's not a lot of tutorials covering on how to do it, honestly.
@Tremendouz2 жыл бұрын
@@sammpaul I will not be making videos of the full process because the other parts are already covered by other people (bass tones, drums, synthetizers, orchestral instruments) but I've been thinking of perhaps doing something that focuses on my process for realistic lead and rhythm parts plus perhaps some tone presets made with free plugins. However, the issue is that a lot of things work differently between Ample Sound and Shreddage guitars so for the tutorial to be more broadly useful I would have to make separate videos for both and that would be a lot of work that I would rather use for making more music. So, it might happen some day but I can't make any promises.

how to automate the pitch bend, like this is the first time that i am unable to automate it unlike any other vst where also any idea how to wam it? i really need help and ive been looking on this for a very long time!!!! btw its amazing man
@Tremendouz4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I don't know what causes your problem, it's just normal pitch automation (pitch wheel). Automatic vibrato is made with aftertouch (channel pressure in Reaper) by default but you can reassign the functions to different CC as you wish (see the manual for more info)

Can u share the midi guitar files for this song?
@Tremendouz3 жыл бұрын
There's really nothing special going on with the MIDI here, rhythm is just varying between palm mutes and sustains and lead uses some vibrato and bends here and there. You can find a guitar pro tab for the song (can be opened with the free Tuxguitar software), export it as MIDI and manually fix it in the DAW, that's pretty much what I did here (but this one is very rough and rushed)
@alonsopalazuelos75996 жыл бұрын
how do you convert guitar pro palm mutes into midi cc?
@Tremendouz6 жыл бұрын
Either drop the velocity of the notes or use mod wheel depending on the palm muting mode you're using with H7S. It's not a direct conversion, I edited the MIDI manually.

how do u automate pitchwheel in flstudio??
@Tremendouz3 жыл бұрын
Probably the same way as in any DAW? I don't use FL but in Reaper you can draw pitch automation in the MIDI CC lane.

@@Tremendouz cant find the modwhell name.. Guess its different on flstudio u click all things that can automate and find the specific than automate.. I dont see pitch nor modwheel.. Thx anyway
@Tremendouz3 жыл бұрын
@@gbeatsmacedonia I'm sure there are a lot of FL Studio tutorials around. MusicLab (the maker of RealLPC etc.) has some guitar programming videos and they show how to do pitch bending but they seem to use modwheel instead of pitchwheel there. But the principle should be the same.

Thanks!

Aika lailla Mercuriall TSC-1 -> Ignite Amps Emissary -> NadIR + GuitarHacks IR -> EQ (high-pass jossain 80-100 Hz) kuulostaa jo aika hyvältä ns. out of the box.
