I transitioned from LBG to HBG.. I like the HBG better for the damage output but all the cons you mentioned is a pain in the @$$... Hope they will buff it the future. Tried defeating an 8* legi with 7.3 Rath LBG and its doable but takes too long to do so. The 6.3 Teo HBG takes a shorter time to defeat it but again the cons. HBG makes me use more potions compared to LBG.. lol

Definitely needs a movement buff for the future. I love the damage, but the little things it had in the main series makes it so limited in NOW. I’m getting used to it, but the feel is a whole lot different versus using it in main series.

I really wanna see a 4 player hgb hame build run destroy an elder dragon or some 10 star monster before jumping into assumptions.. Though that kind of team is pretty much impossible to occur currently 😢

100% agree - for ranged, I've used Bow and LBG rather extensively and enjoy both. The HBG is just too slow and clumsy for me to use (and I'm probably too lazy to practice on it). Great video again KoC!

Playing with HBG i found some types of ammo doesnt need reload or recoil, for exemple Wyvern, recoil does nothing in Wyvern shoot, so If its spread and wyvern is best invest only in reload and guard or something else. With Piercing ammo is nice have evader extender.

The HBG is the worst range weapon?! ...Oh well, it's still pretty fun!🤣 I've been pleasantly surprised by the Rajang HBG recently, and I've gone from not caring at all about farming Rajang anymore (already have my Focus +3 waist), to wishing there were more Rajang around so I can max it! (Kushala has a LOT of surface area for those cluster bombs to hit...just saying!😉)

Blackula is a goat for powering up the BBlos HBG to its near maximum power, I will be focusing on maxing out the bow first before that.

I been using the bone heavy bow gun and honestly it’s good to use . I get the perfect dodges and prematurely dodge to reposition without worrying about the monster hitting me and still put out great damage

Bone HBG is factually good though. If it’s your first ranged weapon and you’ve never used the others for a long time you won’t really notice how the HBGs faults affect you.

I've been preparing for hbg way before it comes out. My full driftmeld bblos has 5 burst / 4 crit eye / 2 wex / 3 reload / 1 recoil. I switched from bblos bow and honestly it's more fun and satisfying. I'm rewarded on my decisions to perfect guard or perfect dodge more than bow. Dodge timing is more crucial. None of my friends have 10.5 so ATM I'm doing way more damage than any of them

Anything that forces you to guard makes you lose DPS lol and if you do the math there’s no way HBG will outpace Blos bow sadly.

The thing is if you run the data, full drift Blos HBG BARELY BEATS Blos bow WITHOUT Driftsmelts (now with the Rajang coil meta). Along with that, HBG results aren’t consistent if you’re factoring in guarding because it depends how often the monster attacks you. You also struggle with critical range unless your rocking spread HBGs.
