Great videos, love watching them. Just a thought, burnt clutch plates I would imagine are similar to blued brake discs, they become hardened and lose some of their friction properties.

Good point. It would probably add carbon to the mix and make the steel harder I guess. Thanks for the input and glad you enjoyed the vid.

Hello. I know evetually I'm going to have to do this. but I was under the impression that you had to soak the clutch plates prior to installlation.

Yep, I did soak them overnight but, this video was just going back in to swap the plated around to the correct order. Sorry for the confusion!

Thanks for sharing this video, I have a question, could you give me a tip? After carrying out the whole process, I see that the clutch is not being activated, the lever is too soft, I thought it was strange because I followed the entire manual.

I'm not sure with out being able to investigate, but it could be that the cam attached to the cable at the top wasn't located correctly, or maybe just tat the clutch adjustment is way out?

@@TimPriestChannel Actually I just had my clutch done at a dealer,,and at the outset I thought the new clutch felt wishy washy,, but it worked then after about three weeks the cable snapped,,new cable all is good ,,clutch is now heavier then before ,,,but I,m a real man and can handel that no issues.. incidently Indian cables are real RE ,,english ones (twice the price) are just aceessories ,,take your pic,pays your money
