I second you on that. I remember Poland being so called Liberated by Russia from the Nazis and being Liberated by anyone of those 2 countries is haunting. It was a bitter sweet celebration when the Russians rolled in. Poland is much stronger even stretching itself taking in 2 million refugees and giving military support.

Awesome. Haven't used that expression in a long time, but when I saw that old grain silo I knew they had just given the Ukrainians a great gift for their August 24 Independence Day fireworks. Talk about stupid, even if you erase a memory card the information is still on it unless it is overwritten but since I don't have any idea how much the memory cards of most drones have it is still stupid to do a full sweep of your encampment and I have no doubt that what was released to TVP was a short video with just enough to make the point. I love this guy's ad lib comments about tank insurance not covering the damage. The phone intercepts are accurate when the Russian soldiers who call their tanks "boxes" (perhaps it is inaccurately translated or it is the Russian term for coffins) and how many they started with and how few they have left. St. Javelin is indeed watching over the Ukrainians. He is quite clever. I like it.

Side by sides/utvs are more useful for modern servicemen. I'm a bike rider, but its inefficient to have 1 vehicle carry one man. If you werent a rider before the war, you'll end up injured riding quickly in stressful situations. Utv's are familiar to anyone that's driven a car, can carry 2 or more passengers, and are only slightly larger then a motorcycle. They are able to carry way more gear, have guns, GPS, etc. mounted, and can be used for fast response injury transportation.

As a life time motor cycle rider myself, if the purpose is a hit and run small mobile squad, then a single small motor cycle is easier to cross through rough terrain. The UTV’s can do as you said, but then what is the purpose of the Ukraine force using them ? 🐉

I was wondering when we'd see motorcycles being used. Good points on utv vs m/c. Which one is best depends on terrain and mission. Overall the utv would be more versatile for general purposes and those who aren't m/c riders. It'd be interesting to see which brands and models would prove most reliable in mostly off-road war conditions. Including dirt bike vs dual-purpose.

If you do it every day tired you will get hurt. That is why professionals in dangerous industries are so safety conscious. It is a matter of when not if.

Those motorcycles were NOT Dnepr MT-11. The Dnept MT-11 is a opposed twin design similar to a BMW 'Boxer'. It usually has a third wheel to carry a sidecar, etc., and does indeed look like it comes from WW2.
