Thank you. I hadn't watched the HE video. The heavy duty is for buckets more than 1/2" thick.

I like the idea that you can replace the individual teeth. If it was up to me I would get rid one of those other ones.

I have the same tooth bar on my 3043D and it has performed flawlessly. I put 40 pounds of torque on the set screws and it hasn't moved at all. I've dug up stumps, moved rock and dirt, graded and abused it in every way I can. The only downside I've seen is back dragging. The teeth hang down a little more than I like. On the other hand, the way the teeth hang down makes it highly aggressive for digging and moving material. Overall, I would highly recommend it.

Do you have the TB or the TBHD?

@@marlaallen7234 If I remember right it's the HD. I've had it on there for a year and it hasn't even started to come loose or be damaged. I live in the eastern Ozarks on a rocky ridge. That's why I wanted the teeth. The smooth edge on the bucket just mostly bounced off the ground. The only drawback is that back dragging is a little difficult. the teeth hang down below the bucket edge. I've learned to work around it but if you're doing a lot of finish grading it would be an issue.

Thank you for the info and torque recommendations. I use the BX for drivewayspread and digging bushes. I have a box grader so I'm going with the HD teeth.

Looking forward to the pros and cons. To me it looks more aggressive and most likely to dig or bust up hard pack better. Will be interesting to see.

That tooth bar is the one to keep 👍👍 like to see you get one for your skidsteer but as a tooth bucket 👍👍🚧🚜🚧

The bucket on my skid steer has teeth on it but they are two dimensional more like the wicked tooth bar instead of the big fat teeth like the heavy hitch. Feels to me like the compact tractors don’t have the power to really take advantage of any of the teeth on these bars

I say the heavy hitch one is the best. Of course, I have a heavy hitch one. So, I`m a bit biased. And mine is 48 inches as the tractor I had when I bought it had a 48-inch bucket. I am still able to use it on my now 51 inch bucket. I don`t think the others you could use a smaller one on a larger bucket.

That is definitely an advantage. I thought about keeping the heavy hitch because you can put it on any bucket

I also have the HH toothbar. It is a big help for some jobs, but mine keeps loosening and falling off. Torqueing the setscrews to the recommended 40 ftlbs, doesn't work. So, I started over-torqueing to 50 ftlbs - and it still falls off. As many have recommended, I fill the setscrew allen wrench holes with candle wax, to keep dirt from packing in. So, everytime I have to re-torque, I have to do the wax again. It's such a pain to keep on, I just don't use my toothbar anymore.

Are you going to test a ratchet rake? They look interesting. I have a lot of brush to pull and rocky soil. Trying to find the perfect tool.

I purchased this tooth bar a few years back. The soil on my property is heavy, mostly clay. It is a nightmare to dig in using the standard bucket with no tooth bar. The tooth bar made a major difference! It penetrates the clay, breaks loose rocks that would deflect the standard edge, and is ideal for tearing up roots. It makes a night and day difference, especially in clay and rock. Can't wait to see you use it and hear your opinion.

@@RockhillfarmYT I watched that video, and I agree with your opinion...for the jobs you do the most. I'll never part with my Heavy Hitch tooth bar...unless I move to a property with conditions that make it less efficient. For now, it's the Heavy Hitch product for me. Great video by the way!

I love this tooth bar and I’m really looking forward to what you think. The biggest con is back dragging, but you can pop it on and off so fast I just pop it off when I’ll be doing a lot of finishing by dragging. I don’t know if you’ll be able to set up a test for it, but I find the most value in angling the bucket down and dragging it like a comb to pull out roots and vines. Works like a beefier landscape rake you can articulate. I love having it on the bucket and grinder on the back when clearing out stumps and bushes and prepping for seed or sod.

You wont always need those crazy aggressive teeth. The others tooth bars are a decent balance from the stock flat edge and the huge teeth of the heavy hitch.

I don’t believe that heavy hitch makes them for track loaders but other companies do. I have a flat tooth bar on my skid steer bucket Thanks for watching
