The 15yo me who was playing the game in 2009 and was blasting every single LP song on repeat to this day is gonna have a field day. Edit: It was everything i had hoped for. The song was outsdanding, they've given Emily her own spiritual successor to Given Up (not comparing the two - for all the haters, don't worry), it was absolute fire. I wish the video is a bit better paced, it lacks that oomph of action and intensity but that ending was really cool. Symbolism was top notch however, especially Faker leaving the crown on the throne while him and T1 defends it. I shed a tear, but it was more from nostalgia than anything. My dream came true, and that makes me happy. Couldn't ask for more, and don't feel like I should. Thank you Linkin Park and Riot for making this happen.

This song is awful as a Worlds theme and even worse as a stand alone song XD who actually thought a bunch of screaming and weak, half-baked raps was the right vibe for one of the biggest esports events in the world? Worlds is supposed to be epic bro not a chaotic mess of noise The constant screaming just feels obnoxious and completely out of place it’s like they’re trying to force intensity, but it ends up being grating and cringe instead. And don’t even get me started on the rap sections. The lyrics are so bland and uninspired, they don’t capture any of the emotion or depth that a Worlds anthem needs. This is supposed to be a song that hypes up players and fans, but instead, it just makes me want to hit mute. It completely misses the mark on what makes a good theme.

This song is awful as a Worlds theme and even worse as a stand alone song XD who actually thought a bunch of screaming and weak, half-baked raps was the right vibe for one of the biggest esports events in the world? Worlds is supposed to be epic bro not a chaotic mess of noise The constant screaming just feels obnoxious and completely out of place it’s like they’re trying to force intensity, but it ends up being grating and cringe instead. And don’t even get me started on the rap sections. The lyrics are so bland and uninspired, they don’t capture any of the emotion or depth that a Worlds anthem needs. This is supposed to be a song that hypes up players and fans, but instead, it just makes me want to hit mute. It completely misses the mark on what makes a good theme.

Worlds is supposed to be epic bro not a chaotic mess of noise The constant screaming just feels obnoxious and completely out of place it’s like they’re trying to force intensity, but it ends up being grating and cringe instead. And don’t even get me started on the rap sections. The lyrics are so bland and uninspired, they don’t capture any of the emotion or depth that a Worlds anthem needs. This is supposed to be a song that hypes up players and fans, but instead, it just makes me want to hit mute. It completely misses the mark on what makes a good theme.

the MV is meh they didn't even show how heavy the crown is. The entire T1 vs LPL narrative became a slideshow + the current intensity of teams like BLG GENG HLE fighting for the title isn't even shown properly. Kinda wish they did more into.. Edit: this MV is more likely a tribute to LP than the entire worlds 24 or T1

해외 롤팬들의 생각이 어떤지는 모르겠지만 페이커가 항상 최종보스라는 생각이 딱 고정되어있는 느낌임. 확실히 goat는 맞으니까. 항상 정상에 있다고만 생각할수도 있지만... 페이커와 제오구케의 스토리는 담아냈어야했어... 2015년 롤드컵 결승 이후로 t1이 잘하든 못하든 경기는 꾸준히 챙겨보면서 응원했다. 2017년에 준우승하고 그 후로 얼마나 힘들었는데. 진짜 쥰내 힘들었다고. 솔직히 롤드컵 갈때도 있었지만 졌고, 못갈때도 있어서 t1 경기가 보기 싫어질때도 있었음. 그래도 꾸준히 응원했다. 그러다가 제오페구케 딱 완성하고 조금씩 올라오니까 너무 좋더라. 근데 lck 결승에선 젠지한테 계속 져, 2022년엔 DRX가 미라클 런...사실 이땐 DRX도 좋아했다만 아무튼. 제오페구케가 같이 고생도 하고 승리도 하고 얼마나 얘기가 길고 많았는데. 그러다가 페이커 부상으로 인해서 T1이 위험했는데 다행히도 롤드컵 진출하고 조금이나마 기대를 하던중 갑자기 LCK 다 떨어지고, T1이 LNG 잡고 와서 징동이랑 하는데 2세트 지기 직전인 게임 슈퍼토스로 이길때 진짜 미칠뻔했다... 그 후로 웨이보 만나서 깔끔하게 이기고, 7년간의 노력 끝에 드디어 롤드컵 트로피를 다시 손에 쥐었음. 오랜 T1팬이자 페이커 팬인 나한테는 7년간의 기다림이 드디어 해결된거지. 그리고 다들 알다시피 롤드컵 주제곡의 뮤직비디오는 작년 롤드컵의 성적 및 흥미로운 스토리를 배경으로 만드는게 많음. 솔직히 나는 롤드컵 우승 혜택에 뮤직비디오도 들어간다고 생각했어. 물론 개인적인 생각이지만. 퀄리티가 안좋아도 선수들의 스토리가 조금 더 있었어도 이것보다는 나았을거임. 롤드컵 뮤직비디오는 조금 더 선수들한테 집중했으면 안되는건가?
