the movie was called INCIDENT AT CHANNEL Q I might be wrong but I am pretty sure that was the film's title.

Love this song, got it on vinyl. They cut out the first part of the solo though.

THEY WERE GREAT! Great arrangement!

The chord arrangement starting at 2:32 is great! They definitely had better chops than most bands of that time.

I'm so glad that this video is still on here considering they've deleted alot of the music videos recorded on VH1 Classic's Metal Mania on this website.

Possibly a movie titled Incident at Channel Q" or something like that. It looks VERY familiar and it has been a LONG time since I saw the movie.

I've just been reading all the comments on this. Def Leppard this - Scottish Def Leppard - Whaaaat! I bought this when it came out and it's ten times better than anything that 'eee by gum' crap could come out with. Could they write a song as good as Dreamtime or Angel? They are total opposites - Heavy Pettin' are very melodic whereas Leppard rely on the beat. I was once in a lift with Leppard in Covent Gdn and I once saw Pettin' doing a photo shoot in Notting Hill. The coolest? Heavy Pettin'!

Would you have the video to "In and Out of Love", one thing what I wonder is why didn't Heavy Pettin make it big?

VH1 Classic seems to be the only station that actually does play Heavy Pettin' on Metal Mania, it's a shame that Heavy Pettin' didn't make it as big as Priest, Leppard and Maiden

To tell the truth, Gordon sells Car Alarms, Moatsy doesn't play that much anymore, Brian is now an accomplished artist/schulptor and Punky keeps himself to himself. Only hamie tried to put the band back together in America with different members and it didn't work. Cha Ching!
@pabl010015 жыл бұрын
Always thought they sounded ok till Hamie opened his mouth! Didn't Gordon Bonner end up playing keyboards for Tigertailz after this?

Wow....he sure has a high pitched voice. Not sure I could get through an entire album. This isnt a dig on them but they remind me of Def Leppard with a dose of helium.

I was reading an interview with this lot the other day. It implied they copied Def Leppard. If that's the case how come this is one helluva band and Def Leppard are a joke?
@gypsyseagod17 жыл бұрын
not the greatest song they had - but a kick ass band damn those 80's videos - lmfao - still got this band on vinyl & cassette ( whats that duh- lol )
@glutusmaximus16 жыл бұрын
Their best album was their last one "Big Bang" not a bad track on the whole album and Hamie does'nt use his anoying scream on it. This album would have made them Big Time if it was given the publicity it was due. Unfortunately the band split and it got shag all.

Strange. This reminds me of something. That is WHY I did not buy that record back then. The vocals! Argh. And sorry ... no! It has got NOTHING to do with Mutt Lange or anything else. That is funny indeed.

Scottish Def Leppard clones. Funny thing is, this bunch was about as good as the Defs. I bought their cassette in the 80's. There are better tunes than this one on it. I saw these guys at the Alrosa Villa in Columbus. Hymie was great. They seemed alot heavier live. Killer guitars. Thanx for the memory!
