Ozzy's the real deal, yep. The performance sure went off the rails though, 100% train-wreck. Chad, Robert, and Zack all locked-in and no problems, Maynard is an odd fit for this mix but amongst the whole lot of them is the only one who can actually sing. Who is that off-key clown at 18 minutes 30 seconds? It's a choice.

Huge HUGE albums - and for a very select few, the best of Ozzy's solo career. Not to diss on Randy (OBVIOUSLY) or the amazing work by Zakk (or even Gus!), but the Jake E Lee albums were amazing, in their pacing, in their sound profile, in the rhythm of the songs, it was totally pure 80's heavy metal. Even Ozzy who doesn't like The Ultimate Sin album, kept Shot in the dark as a staple in the live set. So much great music, so many beautiful sounds and memories.

Brad Gillis did an awesome job considering he was also in Night Ranger. Helped Ozzy out big time to meet his recording contract after Randy Rhoades crashed into the house after clipping the tour bus. Listened to that album about 5 billion times. The solo album stuff was just so sophisticated I really didn't understand it but I warmed up to it and saw it's genius. Huge fan.

Jelly Roll isn’t a Metal Artist he’s a Country Artist with great sound in that genre I think all their inner ear pieces weren’t working because even Cher sounded off key, it wasn’t some of the artists it was the behind the scenes stuff that made many not sound great. This being said, it was about honoring the artist, and all were old. Jelly roll is a great artist at his own craft don’t judge an artist for all the poor sound of every artist inducted it was a sound issue period, point blank that made the bad worse and the good sound bad. The whole thing should be a do over in the production of off sound they couldn’t hear themselves through their earpieces, don’t judge.

My 24th birthday was the best day of my life, it was ozzfest meets knotfest. It was on September 24th. I had the most incredible time and it was a pleasure to watch Black Sabbath. Ozzy was sick that day, yet the entire time he just fucking smiled. It makes me cry just typing this out. He said “I apologize I’m sick as fuck but I’m gonna keep singing” and you could hear the cold yet he just didn’t stop; it was insane. I stood there for hours waiting for their set and then I saw a crowd on 70/80000 people behind me. It was absolutely life changing. The love, the energy, his heart. I’m glad Black Sabbath was inducted years ago but I gotta be honest they waited too long to induct Ozzy on his own. He deserves all of his roses. He’s almost 80. He changed music for the better and I thank him and Black Sabbath for honest poetry. It shaped me into the artist I am today and I am privileged to had the opportunity to see them live. I wish Ozzy the most amazing lifetime and his family. His autobiography was insane. There was a part that said (something like this), “ you only come into this world one way but there are so many fucked up ways to leave it.” This man sculpted so many careers and so many people’s hearts. I’m grateful to listen to his music as well as Sabbath. Changed my fucking life for the better. Thank you, Ozzy. You’re a madman and I love you for it.
