Heavy snow and Alyeska sounds normal, it's still a blast!

Unreal mountain, is the snow any lighter later in the season like February or March though?

@@themichaelbilello Sometimes in December you get some lighter snow but basically it's always pretty heavy. I was there 97-06 and it's pretty common to have 24" on top and rain on the bottom. February and March can have stretches were you're getting big pow every single day though, you just stick to the steep stuff and go fast!

@@teknik12k for snow and visibility my favorite spot had to be the North Face, do you tend to have better vis later in the season or about the same?

@@themichaelbilello : All of them! Way too wide angle - you just cannot discern what the terrain is that you are heading into!

@@richardpare3538oh so the gopro angles pretty much, yeah at this point I wasn’t as skilled with gopro footage reframing but in more recent videos (besides my most recent one) has improved significantly. Still an aspect to my videos I’m trying to improve though!

@@themichaelbilello : I watched the video since I hope to get up there this winter ( IF I can persuade my friends to join me!) Alaska is the only state I haven't been to, and Alyeska is one of the few big ski areas I haven't skied yet, but that lens gave me zero understanding of what those slopes were really like. I have no idea what lenses the Go Pro has available, but your really don't want to use those! :)
